On serious note, should i add h2o2 to my dwc Rez?
You can add what you want you will still fail with no education my son. Good luck living until 40? Lol..

You're right (see I spelled it correctly unlike you) I should stop this thread.. Everyone thank troll Marc for ending my pathetic thread. He can help you all since he is a pro with all the answers...

BBC still making all the friends!

Some things never change.

Keep doing your thing man, it's good to see people going against the grain and not settling for other peoples responses and opinions. But actually getting in there and forming your own.

Hey BBC, are you using the same screen for both buckets?

How do you do maintenance (Check EC/PPM and top-off etc)?

I'm thinking I want to try a scrog, but I don't know where to begin as far as some of the basics go. Maybe I'll do a few more straight DWC bucket grows.

(Yes this is my not so subtle way of hoping you will continue to update while Ignoring any trolls but I assure you the questions are legitimate.)

Hey brother.. I use CPVC screens on each bucket they are attached to lid so easy lift lid everything comes up together. I can check nutes, temp, ph etc and see roots anytime I wanted. I also put rails on the screen for support when need be. They are light two ft by two ft sq screens that work fabulous.

Dont worry I will answer all questions I'm not going to put effort into things that trolls try to destroy.

The screens were more of a trial and error to get to where they work real well now.

Wow I had to post on this chemdog this formula is kicking ass, probably the best plant I have budded as far as yield, growth and health. The C99 is kicking ass too, but this had me "thinking" again. I have always been kind of guessing my nute mixture, I mean it worked and good but could it be better?

So.. I built an excel spreadsheet to calculate weighted ratio to figure out my final NPK ratio of what I use, since I could not believe that this GH formula is kicking ass like this over my other nute brands. It comes out to a close 1-3-2 ratio, and my other mixtures were not near this ratio, so... I took Supernatural Super Boost, Bloom and bud blaster to form a 1-3-2 ratio.. and WOW! My plants are more lush and superior then I have seen before.. doh!

Anyway to the pics camera bit yellow from HPS.. I have to figure out how to set it to take that out.

C99 - Getting big.. buds are EVERYWHERE on this thing..

c99_01.jpgc99_02.jpg

check the roots... snow covered..

c99_roots.jpg

Chemdog.. the monster from past grows with chemdog per plant usually 6-7 ounces dry weight.. this time I am thinking in the 8 range the amount of big colas is like growing maybe 8 plants on this one. SCROG is where it is at.

cd_01.jpgcd_02.jpg

I would update more.. but I have kinda let this slide since the trolls came out at night.

Looking good BBC! So you're taking a liking to the GH i take it?
Well yes it works great... But in fairness my other nutes were slightly lacking for P with the ratio.. Now I get to re-run the other nutes with this ratio.. Then I can say. I already tweaked my supernatural grows in my main flower room and in a week the results were amazing.

Let's get some updates! Have you ever considered perhaps trying DynaGro nutes? That's what I'm going with on my next run. Good growing bro!

I ran dynagro before I switched to supernatural.. I love them. Very nice all in one formula great results without headaches. To be honest supernatural and dyna are pretty close but SN seems to give my plants a bit more. So I stuck with them for now, but I have used me all but my favorites are Botainicare, dynagro, supernatural and if I had to run gh on this formula it would be great too. I like to test, try and experiment. You will love DG.

Right on that is what growing is about do what you like, works or want to try. I never say my way is the right way, but I usually do it because of real world tests and results man.

Let me go into detail a minute on nutes.. and the hype.

Basically when I pretty much have my grow style dialed in, and test different nutes you REALLY have to look to see any differences. Basically it boils down to what nutrient has it all, and what ones need help with additives, not BIGGER, FATTER, MORE DANKTASTIC buds many claim. They all produce nearly the same results if used correctly, just some don't give them enough nutrient support and others do and more.

I am searching for the best nutrient for me, meaning less hassle, results I am used too and an end product that satisfies. Basically the last two are always met by any nutrient line, but the first that's where the fun lies. I mean I see all these nutrient line fan boys with additives to choke a horse, and produce results similar or less then me with only three to four products including beneficials.

The BIGGEST improvement on yield, taste, potency for your medicine will be when you correct, improve your growing style and environment. Then you can compliment that with a good nutrient line, but if you are looking for a magical cure for poor environmental elements for your plant to be corrected by your nutes then forget it.

Holidays Update... I'm pretty medicated now so bare with me, my last free seed harvest of Aphrodite is some amazing indica man... I used to be like "free seeds pfft probably junk..." so don't be like me and try every strain you can, no matter what the reviews or the cost.

There is a lot of BS and "Hear Say" in this hobby, and I have seen it been through it and now I think risen above it. We will get to that in a minute... as this last flower run test of the "useless method" has me thinking in a new direction... I will explain after the pictures and report of the plant now.

Here she is about 2 weeks or maybe bit more before harvest. Very nice size indeed, judging by nugs and previous harvests of the same size ChemDog pheno I suspect... 7-8oz dry product. This pheno is on the OG side with BIG Calax and rock hard nugs even when dry.. so yield is excellent. I hope I never lose this cut... it rocks very "Stoned" old school smoke, it is like forget the fruit, berry, purple this just HIT ME and HIT ME FU!*@ HARD! Many people love it... the others well they fear it.

cd_01.jpg

She is big and green for the most part, except for a few of these leaves where the Mg dropped bit low as I was topping off with just RO water unless needed to adjust. I didn't have to add Mg for the SuperNatural or DynaGro runs. Maybe I was running this mixture bit low, but other nutes I tried didn't have this issue with same top off routine.

cd_02.jpg

The nugs are all frosty as always and calaxing outward like a kraken... CALL IN THE KRAKEN I say when they start doing this.

cd_03.jpgcd_04.jpgcd_05.jpg

So all in all the grow and speed is excellent with the "useless formula" as long as you maybe give a bit more Micro or supplement CalMag.

So now here is my new line of thinking on this "growing thing" well at least for me. Maybe some of you will find something helpful with this rambling, I have tried probably 10 or more nutrient lines in same growing style, environment etc.

This has me boxing up every nutrient I own and giving them away except for my DynaGro nutrients, as everyone of them produced similar buds, just different problems or corrections with them etc. The DynaGro for me produced every bit of yield, taste and with the kicker it was pretty much trouble free grows. That is in laymen terms "very forgiving for my noob ass" nutrient line, that produces buds and yield vs nutes costing 4x more.

I mean this is not me saying USE DYNAGRO, for me its what I want and I don't need anything else. No magic formula, super bud tastic improved snake oils, it's a business and every business needs customers buying what's NEW HOT or IMPROVED. I can't tell you how many growers come to me or I read saying "WOW the dude at the grow shop said this is the SHIT!" Well it's also his store, or someone's that is pushing that Super Bud-tastic product to turn profits.

I found a great formula that works for me and is problem free, and I was still wandering and reading well into 5+ years of growing... well nothing has beat DG for me, probably never will. As long as it stay's constant and true on every strain I throw at it, I will be content now. Plant's are plants, flowers are flowers, and how good quality they are have very little to do with nutrients and probably more how they are grown/treated. They need very little, or you can push them to produce the same product. Meaning if you slam 1.8EC down my Sour OG strain it will swell those buds up, but it doesn't matter which brand of nutes I use as long as it's what N-P-K I want and I provide it to them. So again DG is that and problem free for me...

Sorry for the rambling but some of you seen my grows where I am always trying this or that, well pretty much no more. They all produce the same result, you should use the one that works well for you and just "grow". You can accomplish SO much more using that problem free nute you love, and fine tuning your room, lighting, environment... THOSE will have the biggest impact. Now that is not to say if the nutrients are not working for you then by all means try and experiment.

Oh... here is that C99 from Useless as well. I had the same Mg problems here, but quickly corrected with Epsom salts.

c99_01.jpg

Here is a baby white rhino to test for cloning on DynaGro recipe I have. You can just see how healthier they are at such a smaller amount of product and cost.. it's crazy. It's effortless with DynaGro.. unlike most. I like that and will stick with them at least for me.

Well said Buddha really I've never really used anymore than just base Veg and Flower mutes and a little calmag as a supplement and always gotten those stellar results man honestly the only time I've ever really had a problem is when I just started chuckin these so called Bloom boosters in and started burn in my shyt up lolz it is what it is man.
Glad to be here on this ride as well.
Peace.

Ya that was my point... base nutes pretty much all the same as long it's the N-P-K for you and your needs. The extras if needed are great, but don't turn into a "snake oil" charmer. This is what I run now:

DynaGro Foilage Pro (3-1-2 ratio) for veg with some MagPro/ProTekt and Benes that is all. Just a bit of MagPro to cover some Mg that may be needed.

Flower is :

DynaGro Bloom (1-3-2 ratio), MagPro, Sugar Daddy then a some Mother Of All Blooms around week 5 with 50% of original formula from DG line.

I foliar some Fulvex (fulvic acid) and B1 when I feel like it.

Everything else I don't need. It's cost effective, concentrated and give them all they need, at least the 50+ strains I ran on them. It is also the least problematic most forgiving I have run in 5+ years, hands down in DWC or Aero.

Hey Buddha, Do you suggest getting calmag? My tap water ppm runs around ~200 straight from the faucet. I'm going to be running Dyna Gro Grow, Bloom, and Protekt. What's your feed schedule, if you dont mind me ask? I planned on using a bit altered version of one I found from Dyna Gro.

GRO BLM TEK
Week 1 7.5ml 0ml. 2.5ml (~650ppm)
Week 2 10ml 0ml 2.5ml (~830ppm)
Week 3 12.5ml 0ml 5ml (~1000ppm)
Week 4 15ml 0ml 5ml (~1180ppm)
FLOWER
Week 1 5ml 10.0ml 5ml (~1170ppm)
Week 2 2.5ml 10.ml 5ml (~1170ppm)
Week 3 2.5ml 12.5ml 5ml (~1500ppm)
Week 4 0ml 15ml 5ml (~1500ppm)
Week 5 0ml 15ml 5ml (~1500ppm)
Week 6 0ml 15ml 5ml (~1500ppm)
Week 7 0ml 12.5ml 5ml (~1310ppm)
Week8 FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH
The estimated ppm is a little high because there were some extra additives that I removed.

I'll probably run the week 4 formula for the extra weeks of veg I have planned and I'm going to start feeding nutes after the third set of true leaves, where I'll be switching my MH lighting to 100% as well. :joint:

That might be some other fertilizer they offer this is the one you need :

http://www.hhydro.com/files/Instructions/dynagro.pdf

I usually never go over 1.2EC (~600ppm) in veg but I keep my plant's around a foot tall or so.

Flower is strain dependent.. but never have gone over 1.8EC (~900ppm) in flower with EVERYTHING added. Again my plants get only 4-5ft tall and scrogged, and I like to keep it lower side because my room is low in humidity 30% range so they are sucking more water from the root zone from the start.

Some guys run that high in DWC, I am assuming they have bigger plants, as I see no need with mine. I would add CalMag if you are NOT running Dyna's MagPro as that is basically the same thing with MORE Mg that my plants no matter what strain always crave!

Oh and running so low by the time they are RIPE, JUICY and READY they are at about 1.0EC (~500ppm) and need no flushing which I am a believer on as if they are NOT abused with the nutes there is absolutely no need to flush. Flushing probably in DWC or hydro for that matter is for guys who believe that slamming nutes down a plants throat will plump up his buds, well it will... at a cost and for really how much more if you give them just enough or tad bit more.
