Everyone takes a chance when they grow outside. Jst be as careful as possible and find a nice spot. Don't plant all ten right next to each other spread them out a bit. I've only heard abt large grow busts.

Can someone PLEASE verify this? I have been trying to figure out if its just a myth or if its real.

based on my knowledge its just a bunch of BS, no plants give off some "special light spectrum" weed is a plant like anything else and there aren't any special properties about it other than the active chemical it produces.

As far as getting caught. I have heard that cops don't even bother when they find a plot of 10 or less plants, too much time to eradicate such a small amount, its the bigger fields they are going for. I grew about 6 plants outdoors and was REALLY careful about what I had on me whenever I visited my grow, the way you get caught is going to and from your spot with paraphernalia.

Amen to this man. I always wear gloves when i handle the pots outdoors and i hide the stuff such as fertiliser etc a good distance away from the spot. P.s take some binoculars with you and if enforcement do happen to stumble across you when you there, your birdwatching ;)

Remote Sensing of Vegetation can most definitely detect the chlorophyll in mj leaves that aint no joke. The chance that a chopper having this kind of equipment is rare, usually in satellites and planes the only reason to have one would be if the cops were looking for something they have heard about, other then that I wouldnt worry much

This is going back at least twenty years to when they did the total eradication in Hawaii.

The story goes they found nearly every outdoor plant in the islands with cameras using equipment that could identify Cannabis.

The copters would find each location, and lower a rotating nozzle that sprayed RoundUp or some such on the plants.

I've been told that a single plant can be spotted by satellite if the sky is open, overhead, using similar equipment.

There's always risk, outdoors.

Be cautious. Especially when going to your grow.

There is no way for them to find the plants except for the human eye.

They are trying their hardest to clear out the large national forests in norcal, and massive crops you can't even imagine still make it through the year. this is with people placing generators and miles of irrigation in the forest.

Keep thinking they have all this fancy stuff that doesn't exist, it helps keep the prices up for the people who are in it for the money :)

i mean really what do you say the worries of getting caught without being ratted out or any lame shit are if it comes down just to the eyes in the sky? say you have less than 20 plants no more than 5 within one area. East coast? West coast?

lets hear some opinions!

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"They (the weed plants) hugged the tree line, so they couldn’t be seen from the air–but unbeknownst to us the cops were using infrared photography to spot growers from the sky. The pot came up cooler than the trees and thus could be differentiated from legal flora. That’s how they found it."

i think as long as you dont tell any1 about your grow, you are cautious, and dont plant 300 plants in 1 area you should be good.
if it blends in to the natural vegataion it should be good. the area im growing at has plants that are 3 feet tall already so my plants will blend in

I have a jewelers loupe that has an led which emits a blueish light that makes the trichs light up like a christmas tree. The effect is much greater compared to looking at the trichs using my 6500k cfl for light. I'm not saying that this is what they use, as I have no fricking idea, but I do believe it's possible.

Exactly.

The equipment to detect the cannibis plant is there, but IS it in every chopper. No

And how hard is it to pick out a couple of plants over say 50 acres. They have to be over the the plant or close to it.

Needle in a haystack.
