I wish I could find something else to lower it that I can find around here because by the time I order it and it gets here I will have to have fed at least once

20150114_123753.jpg 20150115_120601.jpg So I've made some changes.removed the scrog screen because it was just making my leaves wrinkled and twisted and I topped the 5th element to help the lower new growth which it has plenty of and I also started the feeding schedule with 1/2 strength of the big bloom which is fed alone for the first couple weeks before mixing it with the grow big.chocoloco is taking it time growing once it gets a little bigger it should speed up.i had planned on having 2 plants at the same stages of growth but with all the dead sprouts I had it screwed that up.instead of the scrog I may just LST and see if I can get a good yield.

I'm going to have find a odor control because the 5th element is already starting to have a little skunk smell in my room and it's only a couple weeks old.carbon filter is out of the question though due to such a small space and the filter, fans and ducting are bulky.anyone have any other odor control devices or anything else that works?

Home made carbon filter. There are many different ways to make them, smaller. Search you tube.
Active carbon filter.

I will check into that and see what i can make work.i got a couple things to play with and try out.i got a carbon gel closet deodorizer that i put in the cabinet just to see how works for now because it's just a light smell nothing major just want to keep it minimum.i also got a plug in Hamilton Beach odor eliminator which is just a fan with a carbon filter and an optional scent cartridge to test out later on once smells become stronger.

20150117_110244.jpg 20150117_110254.jpg Today is day 24 for 5th element and day 9 for chocoloco.not sure how I'm going to get them both to be close to size before flower time.i don't want the 5th to overtake the cabinet before the Choco can get big enough

if u scrog, the screen needs to be higher up, about,1 ft above minimum. u can buy charcoal at a pet shop and build a charcoal filter easily with a empty cofee can or even a tube sock. id switch to fabric pots, ull get a better germination rate and bottom feed to avoid mold, mildew bugs, and algea. just keep topping and some lst to keep the 5th element smaller or bend the plant over wile she is still small, ull get lots of tops.. id personally switch nutes to general hydroponics maxi grow n bloom, cheap but the best ive ever used..

Need some advice.the 5th element has so many new branches and new growth that it's all getting crammed together and Makin everything curl and wrinkle.not sure if it will straighten out once it grows out past the fan leaves or not.it looks like it's trying to grow out towards the light but I don't know for sure if it's that or something else20150120_112647.jpg20150120_112656.jpg

I was going to give it a few more days before I tied it up but it needed bad so I went ahead and opened it up so now it should be able to straighten itself out.looks like I'm going to have a good number of tops on it.the Chocoloco is doing good and speeding up growth, looks like it's going to be nice and bushy like the 5th element.20150121_150457.jpg20150121_150509.jpg 20150121_150528.jpg

Today is day 30 for the 5th element and day 15 for the chocoloco.both looking good.debating on how big to let them get before I flower so I can maximize my space and hopefully get more than 10 grams this harvest.20150123_163514.jpg20150123_163529.jpg 20150123_163714.jpg

u should get well over ten grams..it all depends on ur strain and how big buds are. i am getting rid of mellon gum and mighty drape because the bud size on them is small compared to my skunk, critical mass or nl. those have nice fat buds at harvest, wile some strains even though they are covered in crystals are just small buds.

My last couple runs were just messes and had things go bad on both and only managed 10 grams out of both failures while it was good I would love to have had more but this round I think with good fem seeds instead of the usual bag seeds plus the better gear I will turn out a good crop.fingers crossed

I have over 200 strains at the moment, ill never grow them all yet i always want more..out of the 20+ strains ive actually grown only a handfull stand out as good producers, the rest claimed to be much better than they were and this seems to be true even or especially with the higher priced seeds, ive gooten better producers for 4 bucks a seed and shit plants that were 20 a seed.. As a matter of fact one of the best plants/producer i ever had was a seed i got out of a bag of high priced weed in high school unfortunatlt it was before i was always growing and before i ever cloned but i wish i could get that plant back today..
