So what are everyone's thoughts on veg stage light cycles? Currently I'm running 16 on 8 off.ive thought about going 18 on
but idk if it makes that much of a diffence.anyone ever compared the 2 cycles to see what difference it makes?

I got on 24/0. People will tell you all different opinions but I personally don't think they make any difference in all honesty.

Debating on starting to feed some nutes to the 5th element.been using plain water and it's doing great.on one hand I
want to wait a little longer and on the other I want to start a low dose feed.will post some new pics when I get off work.

Yea I am in the same boat on day 8. I think I may wait until day 14 to start the nutes but not sure. Would love some input from an intermediate grower, its too bad they don't respond much on here.

Yea.i usually wait till I see signs of fading or something before I feed but I don't want to wait too long.since the 5th element is looking good I may just keep waiting

The 5th element is doing great it has new growth coming out of every spot possible.ill grab some pics of it tomorrow.looks like it's going to be nice and bushy which works perfect for scrog.chocoloco is open and growing it's first set of points so it shouldn't be long before it starts growing faster

I tried it on some of my last plants and the only one that worked out ended up being male.and I was kinda wanting to try and not have to pinch plus from the looks of the new growth I may not need to top or anything.

I think next water I'm going to start the feeding schedule at 1/4 strength and it starts with just the big bloom so it will be very low dose to start with.

I'm not too familiar with nutrients, but shouldn't you be using a "grow" formula for veg and bloom for flower?

It's fox farm so u feed big bloom pretty much the whole grow.its only .01-.3-.7 then after a few feeding of it I'll start adding the grow big then switch to tiger bloom during flowering.

Now this is the stuff that pisses me off.got a call this morning from the electric company and they are gonna be doing some work by my place and will have the power shut off for 3 hours.so now I've got a try and keep them warm and deal with no light for a few hours.

Looks like i won't be feeding for a
a while.after mixing up a half dose of the big bloom and checking pH unlike every other fox farm nute it put my pH at 7.5 and i have no pH down only up(didn't have big bloom last time so never needed to lower ph) so now I'll have to wait till I can order some ph down.
