bought 1 oz. from craigslist as mmmp, ended up being 4.5 grams short

is there anything I can do about this or just suck it up? i doubt the cops would care or would arrest me instead?

i should add this is a hypothetical question, i do not donate through craigslist

so there is nothing legally you could do to get the cops involved you think? i would think if someone reported they got shorted getting mj off of craigslist that they would be admitting guilt and be arrested too

I would not get the cops involved. It's just opening the door for problems. They may come and harass you and kick your door in later. They may pull you over and try to drug test you outside your house for DUI. Definitely keep that phone on the hook!

Think about it - what proof do you have that he actually shorted you anyway? None! You could've smoked it all in that time, or flushed it down the toilet, or fed it to your dog - and that's how a court would see it.

Take it as a loss 4.5 grams isn't worth getting the police involved man

Only 4.5 grams you gotta suck that up. Not that it is right but more problems would come of trying to recoup or make right that 4.5 grams. Not worth it and yes u would expose yourself to be vulnerable to what leo may then do to you. Not that you did anything wrong in buying but we all now how leo is and thinks. Protect yourself and your interest at all times. Lesson learned and at a fairly small cost. Still doesnt make it rigth ant whoever did that is a scumbag and hopefully one day will get theirs. Somehow I have feeling they will......

Don't get the cops involved. Nothing good will come of that.

If you're really feeling butt-hurt over it, keep an eye peeled for the same guy on Craigslist and line up another meeting with him and short him some cash on the next go around ... if you're prepared to deal with a pissed off dude.

I am embarrassed for you. Just bite the bullet on this one and move on. It will be less painful in the long run.

Your gonna have to suck it up, next time bring scale or just examine a little better. Craigslist is fishy and you just got to trust your instincts when doing so, you can get quality meds through CL just be cautious.

Anytime I was having to buy my pot I would get ripped off...usually double ripped off...not only would I get less than I paid for, but it would be really low quality as well....So I stopped buying it...too much trouble...Every once in awhile you can find someone that will and can get it for you without ripping you off, but they are few and far between...

and don't be too upset...first and last oz I ever bought was 10 grams short and was so terrible...

If a stranger steals my car I am calling the fuzz...if a stranger steals my weed, then I am just short some weed...it is the cost of doing business sometimes...til it is legalized like corn...
