Hey native humboldt, how many weeks did yours take to finish? mine are 8 weeks on sunday. The original Blue dream cut originates from Humboldt county right?.

Thanks Kawana, do you have any dried shots of your recent blue og harvest? Mine is definitely a heavily kush dominated pheno with sour peppery hash aroma.
I'm gonna do what you did with yours and chop out the main tops first.

Thanks mate. It is a real kushy plant with the gigantic single calyxes poking out of the main buds, I think I have an og kush dominated phenotype.

Ah shit, if its only 7 weeks go another week. Once those ambers show its chop chop chop my man :D

Mine's not doing much bro, out in the sun doin its thang, growing slowly due to the cold start but picking up pace now man!!

Yeah I see a few amber here and there but I want to see a decent ambering being an indica, going to chop the main heads out this weekend I think - it looks mature as fuck for under 8 weeks :shock:.
I've chopped a few samples here and there and I can tell it's going to be a heavy smoke with a decent cure.

Yeah I bet it's really starting to kick into gear now, hopefully it gets to a decent height before flowering because they don't grow much higher!, good luck man.

quite frosty too. Harvested a few top heads off as I was happy with the trichs, going to thin out all the fan leaves and finish off the rest for another week.

They seem really rock hard and don't look like they will shrink much. Got a nice ball of finger hash too.

I grew 5 seeds from HSO 2 of them finished at around 50 days, 1 at 60, and the last one I just pulled at 65. The 65 day seed looked the best its in the clone room with two others going into re-veg. I can't lose those genetics they are very good for a GSC strain. The ugs are large frosty and very nice looking. I hope I can burn a little this morning. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I plan on being extra high today lots of killer food and family.

I described the GSC above pretty high this morning. The Blue OG is still going after 71 days not sure why need to cut it down this weekend. Looks great two tops one almost done the other a little behind. I'll post a pic soon. I would love to keep the strain alive but the time is too long to finish. I have a hard time letting any strain die off kind of a OCD I cant keep every strain growing but would like too.

Is that the Hso Blue Dream? I had a seed that died :(. I call these kind of strains snoop dog weed bongsmilie, The blue og is very inconsistent with finishing times from what I've gathered.
Definitely not a keeper strain for me, too long veg. Feminise your strains then lol. Happy thanksgiving to you too, even though we don't celebrate that down here ;-).

I agree...too long in vege, you look like you had some height left over. I've switched to the G13 Labs raw Diesel which is G13 Haze x NYC Diesel.
First one due in 10 days or so.

Its a spin out that it looks so done for under 8 weeks hey, good to know hey ;)

Mine should get to a good height, nothing massive but she'll be right, as long as ita good smoke :D

Yeah probably going to take the rest down mid to late next week.

It should do over there!, I just hope you don't get the 11 weeks pheno.

Wouldnt matter too much which pheno we get, it is in a pot so can be moved inside if need be ;)

blue og.jpgThe hanging stuff has been drying since thursday and the bottom stuff was harvested on sunday. I also have 9 oz dried from a couple weeks ago.

Looks to be a decent yield from how small the plants were.

Definitely the OG Kush pheno. fuel lemon aroma and not too much influence from the blue family but I've heard blueberry doesn't carry over too much when breeding.

Has only just been manicured and is very powerful to other people and can't get enough of it. I'm going to fully cure it out and stop smoking it for awhile to judge it properly.

A very yieldy plant for sure! surprised me big time, definitely over 1000 grams under 1380 watts and the plants were not up to scratch with height and size - buds just came out of nowhere! :mrgreen:

As for the blueberry not carrying over in breeding, i cam assure you that it definitely does hey. All my blueberry x white shark have all got the blueberry leaves and smell already and they're only 3 weeks old :D

May be different if the mother was blueberry though, cant vouch for that one! I used a blueberry male in my crosses!

I read that about the mother blueberry not having as much influence on the progeny, I think males have the most influence though?.

Blue moonshine is a strain I really want to grow. My panama seedlings can be smelt from a couple of meters away, it's a hashplant sativa I think thats why.
My Malawi still has not much smell only a slight mintly citrus on stem rub.

Good results....I found i built up a mean tolerance pretty darn quick, but most people impressed with taste and effect. Bit too indica for me.
