Hey everyone,

I Have got 13 blue ogs ready to go into flower this weekend. (not in tent), currently under 180w led.
I am going to running these under at least 2 600 hps (1 is a multi spectrum bulb) and a 400/180w led (haven't decided which one yet).

Yeah thanks man, They have gone into the 1.38k flower room with two 600 hps and a 180w led for more light spectrum(might get some colours). They seem to be more on the blueberry
side with the purple/red stems.

Hey. I've had a couple of grows with g13 Blue OG now. One thing I would say. They take longer to finish than g13 claim. More like 9-10 weeks. It's worth spending extra time veging. A good 3 weeks, including tipping into 4 laterals in my case.

And topping massively improves yield. The photo's are of 1 at week 7 and 4 topped plants somewhere around week 4.DSC03185.jpgDSC03189.jpgDSC03195.jpg
However it's worth the wait. Tasty smoke. Good long vege needed. Really really short plant.DSC03192.jpgThis photo is an untipped plant that's basically a 20 inch solid head.DSC03186.jpg

Thanks bro. Real nice plants, what were they flowered under?.

I've seen a youtube video of the dried buds under led and it looks amazing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8UFNE5ZiI4

Do they stretch at all? sucks if they don't because I have lots of room. I have 13 plants in the flower room. What was the smoke like bro? classic blueberry?.
My plants have 17+ main shoots, some more.

Thanks for your info man, I'l upload some pics tomorrow to show you how big they are at the start of flower(7/10/13). I have way better seeds though like Ace seeds malawi and Orient express, I also have an Uzbekistan landrace indica called taskenti and Pakistani chitral kush from Cannabiogen which I'l be germinating for outdoor and to put in the room after the blue og's finish.

Really fruity taste. They don't stretch much I discovered. I could've veged some of mine a lot more. Curious to see how big yours are. I've got a perpetual harvest going on under 2 x 600hps. This is the last Blue OG I'm doing. About to take clones from G13 Raw Diesel.

Raw diesel is straight fire. Definitely one of my all time favorites.

Very nice grow btw.

Probably will be very similar to dinafem's blue hash strain, very fruity and classic blueberry taste will hash under tones. Well I probably should have veged mine longer because I have a lot of space vertically. I have a cotton candy (power plant x lavender) mother that will be ready to take cuttings soon and veg under a 400hps to put in flower room after the blue ogs.

2 x 600 hps is very nice. Have you ever tried those mh/hps bulbs? I had decent results from sickly plants from 1 600hps/mh and I found they bring out coloured hair/calyxes.

Was the smoke that strong? I might put a couple malawis in my room soon, real strong stuff.

Peppery-Hash-berry is how I'd describe the Blue Og taste. I'm not going to grow it again because it's too short, it's a great yield for the height, but I prefer bigger (and fewer) plants. I had to experiment with vege times because there was nothing on the internet and found that it was too long for me. I'll take a photo later to give you an idea of heights etc, but it has bugger all stretch.
Nice selection of genetics you've got there. I've also got G13 Northern lights X Skunk and Kiwiseeds Milky Way, www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/kiwi-seeds-milky-way/prod_1065.html which is well worth trying. Also a CH9 Seeds Toxic Blue 33 which looks interesting.
I've got 2 digital ballasts. One is dimmable, so you can turn a 600 down to 400 without changing bulbs which is very cool.
How are LED's working out for you ?

It is kinda odd that it doesn't stretch much being heavily blueberry influenced. I'm the same as you, I like a good 3 x stretch.
Yeah I'm germinating Mulanje,Ace seeds malawi and cannabiogen's taskenti(uzbekistan indica landrace) for outdoor and indoor for some. are you going outdoor this year? looks to be a good season this year.
My shortest blue og is 26cm and tallest 36cm with the rest around 30cm average.

Yeah i'm real interested in kiwi seeds, the milky way is apparently really good. I really want Ray's choice(nz bush sativa) because it has old school new zealand sativa genetics from back in the 80's/90's. Let me know If you are going to grow milky way, you gotta do a journal or thread bro.

Yeah I recently bought 2 dimmable digital ballasts that are mounted to the wall- super slick looking too.
They LED is very nice for veg but decided to put in flower room for more lighting spectrum.

Don't be surprised if they barely double in height. Have you done the Malawi indoor ?
I'm in Christchurch and with everything still a bit unsettled I'm not doing much outdoor this year. I've got a couple of Dinafem Critical x Automatic that I'm going to try out back in a month or so but it's still cold down here, minus 2 this morning.

Yeah well I should still get a couple ounces per plant?.
Na I have only just started germinating them last night, this version of malawi is very good for indoor and only has a maximum flower of 14 weeks, huge yields also with devastating smoke apparently. What's it like growing down there man? must be hard being so cold. It's real warm up in tauranga, the season already started 3 weeks ago. 7 uv rating today, december onwards is going to be crazy hot this year. Auto's would thrive in your climate, search up 'Think Different' from Dutch Passion, outrageous yields for an auto.

We get extremes down here....really hot...really cold...but it's a dry climate, low humidity, much lower rainfall than the BOP, Mold and such aren't too much of a problem except maybe a 2 week period in July. It's a brave person that plants outdoor before the end of October. I used to live at Papamoa Beach btw.

Yeah it's sort of semi subtropical here, the way I tell when the season has started is the massive trees across the road are completely green with the new leaves. Extra early season this year.
We had pretty much no frosts this year, usually I wouldn't plant before october either. Last year my plants went into early flowering in october setting them back a month or so.

I have a blue OG going too,7weeks in 12/12. I'll toss some pics up later after work. But I can clearly see this thing go longer than 8 weeks like they say.

Breeders like g13 are never really too accurate, Ace seeds in the other hand is spot on.

Did you get any stretch with your plants?. Thanks for pics man, not too much on forums about blue og. It's a new ish strain I think.
