Blue Himalaya Deisels For dummies from The dummy

Teflon...In your experience have you had a really blue BHD...or a really tall one? I have one that just started to really bud and it is nearly 40" tall and the blueberry looking one is now 37" and has deep dark purplish green leaves and snow white buds the dark colored leaves get a weird yellow/gold tip ...definitely not nute burn..or PH related issues the temp and humidity are a constant 75 degrees and low low humidity with more than 2 x's cfm ventilation of air per minute I know I am good there...but every Dj shorts blueberry plant I have seen looks like mine ..I am just tripping on the size of everything ...the difference of one to the next...the onyx I have(the 2 largest )over 20 solid tops forming the same size as the central...no exaggeration. (22 on 1 ..23 on the other) some have dainty little leaves while some have sharp looking like fingers...supposed to be the same... maybe its the seed bank ? I know with hybrids ..like people different parental traits come out in each offspring ...but these look like different kinds all together. 40" and just starting to bud is a far cry from the 18"-24" or so the breeder claimed. Has anyone ordered seeds from weed-seeds.net? The himalayan Kush are very strange as well with 9,11,and 13 leaves and the leaves are so big they just droop from the weight...if you or anybody has any insight on either please let me know

12 plants would really be pushing it.,imo I tried 1 sq/ft and it wasn't nearly enough I have 11 in a 76" x76"x 76" and it takes up 2/3of it ..I am having to bend and rotate them to reach the light on the edges....they really can bush out and fill in the same space with less actual plants. The onyx has only 4 and they are twice the size of my HBD(smallest HBD is 25"tall and 18" diameter) In the near future I am going to try to mimic a hill and valley...like bleachers and run my HPS vertical and use 360 of my light and put in 90watt UFO LEDs around the corners and edges California says I can have up to 90 in a 10'x10' space...they never said how tall it could be yay!

I tried reading through some of your thread and didn't come up with any answers, but how's the MG -vs- FF working out?

I abandoned the trial when both of the plants in the FFOF ended up male. I ended up mixing it in with the MG and running that.

I think you are right adam 12 will be pushing it. I start a seed or two every couple of weeks so they all won't be full grown at the same time

Also, how's the bubble water thing working out?

i see your using the stuff called rooting hormone , i lost my bottle of clonex gel and then got that but havent used it yet, ive used clonex w2ith 100% cloning resuults, how is that other powder rooting hormone?

What about the height? my shortest is 24" and the tallest is now 42" which is easily a week behind the others budding...has anyone had a BHD this tall? the breeder info says 12-16" max... also the blue dominate one I have smells SOOOOO sweet like a berry..I accidentally squeezed it with my little pocket microscope and the smell just reeked..it's hard not to go in there and get a nose hit...but I really dont like touching them ...I am also getting amber hairs already on the tips of one or two tops...I know the trich's color is what I am looking for but how long, in your opinion, is left on these..getting anxious to sample them..lol

I had one that was easily 40" tall but I tied it over. I have had them finish anywhere from eight to ten weeks. If you want a tester I would at least wait until week 8.

tied it over..? what do you mean like LST'ing it?..I did super-crop one branch on the tallest one..just to give some much needed light to a plant that is under it...it worked ..never tried it before but it is way cool. it curled back towards the light and another "top" popped up right where I bent/broke it. I will without a doubt be using that in the future on reg. and taller plants..but I believe that doing this to autos may slow flower production somewhat

yeah LST is what I meant. I wouldn't use anything rougher on an auto but in regular stains super cropping is the shit.

Wheres some family photos of your BHD's teflon haven't seen them in awhile. Just started some Reserva Privada Kandy Kush and Kannabia Afrodite. Gonna be trying something new. using cfls to veg then moving it under a 400w HPS light for flower. My BHD's are still alive and doing ok. Im thinking I have about 3-4 weeks left on my oldest which is 60 days old and an extra week for my other two. Also just ordered some Super Lemon Haze during the tudes promo and got all those free seeds from T H and a new strain some g13 labs, and 2 dinafem freebies also. Here's a couple of pics from mine...day 42 the overall view doesn't have all of them in it but it shows the height of that tall one...it is just an inch shy of 4 ft now....that's trippy man. I was not prepared for this...I am about to run out of height and can barely make it around them. The Onyx is on the left HBD on the right..not the best pic but u can see what I am dealing with.. the light is literally just outta the pic

Hey Teflon, whats your male to female ratio with your BHD regs?

6 out of 10 were females. 3 were males and 1 was a non starter.

That is a nice looking little patch you got there. I would try to tie the tall one over now because by looking at it it will get taller if you don't. This was the one I had to tie down

What happened to this thread, it used to be so active? Well heres some random photos to get this thread starting again. This first picture is my Kandy Kush and Afrodite on Day 11 and looking nice. Other is Day 68 when lights just turned off. Actually on day 70 as of today. I plan on harvesting the small one on the far right in 3-5 days, then ill harvest the middle one in 9-10 days, then the one on the far left is only on day 63 right now so I might let that go to around day 75-80 depending on how shes looking.

What's the most you have pulled off one? I swear on my tallest that is a solid 48" it has more than 2 ozs already with 3 weeks left I had to lean it in and forward so the one under it can pull something...it is pitiful behind that giant ..still at @24" but ill be lucky to get a 1/2 oz off it...win some and.lose.some...I've said it before and i'll say it again ONYX IS THE SHIT! They are seriously twice the amount of branching and each has a natural sea of green bushing....I could have filled my whole tent with about 6 of them ...I will let yall know what they yield but from what I see I should yield nearly 4ozs from each of my 2 largest... and the other 2 will likely be around 2 or so.. I'm no rookie I am usually fairly close on my guesses
