Ok, After reading some information on Alzheimer's for about 10 minutes im an expert on it now
From what I read the biggest factor in treating is going to be CBD and THC as a study shows to have one a better job at removing Beta-amyloid in the brain than either CBD or THC alone. So you should pickup some CBD strains and process them in the same gummies as your High THC strains together. Beta-amyloid is a very sticky protein Probiotics will help break it down, and may assist in processing her gummies in the gut. I took probiotic pills but I notices kimche and saurcraut works better but more is better.

Pinene has shown to get good results for Alzheimer's and Dementia. Years ago good growers on instagram teased people that had pine terps, it was a running joke the market was moving away from pine terps anyway. However it has anti microbial, anti depressant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Bro Science Drs believe inflammation aids in the disease, sometimes bro science is right.
Get you some hazes or some jack to get thats heavily abundant in this terp. I mentioned Bodhi has a very fine one. You already have a sativa and it already gives you anti depressant benefits so thats great. You will fine both lemon phenos and pine in that strain bodhis jackxhashplant. Pinene improves memory function. Super lemon haze has some pine and some lemon phenos.
i made a list of terps that have shown favorable results.

you will see these terps (mostly) in a lot of kush and haze strains.

I get what you're saying, but whatever strains they tested were individual specimens? Were entire seed lines tested to ensure they all have the same properties? There's just so much variability, I question the value of these types of studies.

I'm with you though, individual terps and terp profiles are what to look for. I would steer away from strain-based studies, and look more at specific terps, and then what strains are known to be high in those terps.

You also need to take a grain of salt with whatever a bulk seed outfit says is "OG Kush" or "Sour Diesel" These are clone-only strains, and anything you're likely to purchase from a bulk outfit has been crossed or watered down.

That's not to say good example of these clone-only strains, or old school seed lines can't be found, but you'll need to dig a little. Otherwise you're likely to be disappointed, or blissfully unaware of any difference.
yeah. they didn't really go in depth with the strain lineages. they just had a strain name and what positive benefits and or specific symptoms it was found to treat. they were more concerned with does it help, and how does it help.

i started putting the terp hunt 2+2 together after digging further into individual terpenes and what their affects were. then pulled all the beneficial ones together in the "the terp list". from there i started looking at the terps specific strains had and then checked to see what terps were showing thru in crosses and more modern strains.
i will continue to do this, but for now will stick with growing the list strains to see what is working and what is not. tailoring something to this specific patient is nothing short of challenging.

i have two hazes on deck for next spring:
- super lemon haze
- super silver haze

and one more sativa high in lemonene
- strawberry lemonade

all of the above were either on "the list" or have similar terpene profiles.

as far as CBD strain, i grew 3 this last summer.
- 1 x cream and cheese cdb 1:1 (18% thc : 18% cbd)
- 2 x purple kush cdb 1:1 (7% thc : 7% cbd)

we actually started her off on the purple kush cbd to ease her into a low percentage THC strain. made a tray of keto brownies (that she ended up NOT liking to eat... (that was fun)) that were infused. everything was new and a LOT to observe, but we kept notes. after that tray of brownies was gone we stopped using that strain. after a bit of time, we somewhat changed what symptoms were priority and which were not. we will take the anxiety as long as she eats... eating became the top priority. she was losing weight disturbingly quick.

we found the strains with lower cbd and higher thc were more bound to get her to eat... but the THC made her nervous/anxious. we ended up getting bottle of CBD extract from "the healing rose" company. we used that in conjunction with the THC oil/gummies and got a satisfactory result (for all involved).
i have not tried extracting the cream and cheese yet tho... we may try it, but for now, have found a combination that works with the "balancing act".

her whole condition is contradictory. the chemo fried her brain and stomach. the photos they took from the stomach camera showed her stomach lining blackened from chemical burns. certain foods and medicines she can't eat, no matter how beneficial to her, because it will cause her great discomfort, visual bloating (gets so bloated with gasses sometimes she looks pregnant - and it's all so very painful to her... drives up her stress levels which results in more problems with her brain (alz patients need to stay calm. high stress causes them to have mini-strokes which causes even more damage in the brain).
she needs to eat tomatoes for antioxidants? well, she can't. the acid in the tomatoes hurts her stomach, so she won't eat for2 days. needs to take medicines for anxiety? well, she can't. the pills make her bloat for 2 days, so she won't eat for 3.
needs to drink milk for calcium? well, she can't. makes her vomit or diarrhea.
found something she likes to eat all the time? well, she can't, because it has too much sugar in it and the sugar is bad for her alz brain.
need her to sleep? try melatonin... nope... makes her brain worse and affects her heart.
she's constipated? give her a lax... nope. can't. gives her terrible diarrhea that goes everywhere and she stops eating for days.

*sigh*

everything is a balancing act. trying to find food she likes (that she can eat and doesn't make her sicker), medicine that works (and doesn't make any other symptom worse). 1 step forward, 4 steps back.

i have watched my poor wife age like 10yrs in the last 5 months. :(

i'm starting my strawberry lemonade in feb or march...waiting on my current batch. i haven't seen too many of them, but what i have looked pretty good. not too chonky though.

I got that from Dutch passion, 100%. You do get herms even in reg seeds. I've only popped ,1 blimburn, running now

I ordered 5 pk of blackberry moonrocks from blimburg a while back. Wasn't planning on popping any yet but one came pre popped! Strangest thing, opened up the pack to inspect and sure enough, there's a tail.. Not sure what would cause that (altitude maybe?) but figured what the hell and through it in some ffof. So far it looks pretty good

UPDATE:
I have completed my indoor run with the blimburn seeds.

i have successfully run:

- Blimburn GDP (grandaddy purple) - despite growing these in 3/4 gallon pots, i got a good sized yield (filled a bertoli sauce jar). the smoke is VERY potent and flavors a bit subtle (they need a bit more time curing i think). overall, i am very pleased with this strain. will grow again for certain.

- Blimburn BBMR (blackberry moonrocks) - healthy and vigorous grow. buds took a while to fatten up, but when they finally did, they did nicely. grown in 3/4 gallon pot, with decent yield. the smoke is smooth and tasty. potency is great. will grow again.

- Blimburn GDP+DSD (Grandaddy Purple X Do Si Dos) - this one is still in flower, but very very close. ambers about 10%. will harvest in a 2-3 more days. it is by far the frostiest ganj i have ever grown to date. very sticky. covered in trichs. even fan leaves have milky trichs. haven't smoked/tasted this yet as it isn't ready... but i am really looking forward to it.

= = =

for those who have had negative experiences with Blimburn, i am not sharing your experiences at all. i have had nothing but good experience from ordering to growing to harvest. does this mean i'm discounting your experience? not at all, but i do not have anything negative to say about blimburn at this point. 3 strains, 3 successful grows with intent to run again.

i other news, i have read and taken some of y'alls advice with more "premier" seed vendors. i read about "north atlantic seed company" somewhere here and went and checked them out. they had all your top suggestions, with smaller packs and better prices. i went apesh*t. got a bunch from humboldt (company and organization) twenty20 mendocino, cali connection and barneys farm. i have nothing but praise for the NASC. great site, great selection, great prices. if you haven't checked them out, i would highly recommend. my BBMR grew very healthy. smoke was smooth, tasty and potent (though mine needs to cure a bit more... i couldn't wait. curiosity killed my cat long ago)
my overall opinion : worth it.

good luck with your grow! let us know how it comes out.

So far it's a nice looking, stout little plant that looks very promising. Obviously it couldn't wait to be popped, so I will accommodate :weed:

My personal experience with Blimburn has been pretty good. Their Blue Dream just leaves people absolutely wrecked. But I do let them go way long in Flower, probably 10 weeks or so. I did their GS Cookies I think it was a couple years ago and they were good too.

Hey dude,
I have just purchased from BlimBurn after doing some research and the reviews looked solid as banks go.
Very interested to see how you get on as I have the blackberry moonrocks, Oreoz, RS11 and Reeze Mcflurry. The ordering process was very quick even on a Sunday so cannot be faulted so far.

I guess it all comes down to proof of the pudding. Hope you all the best for your grow mate.
just FYI

i finished the 3 blimburn plants i ran over the winter.
all results were favorable. vigorous growth, vigorous flower, potent and tasty end product.
satisfied and will grow again.

did you start your grow yet?

Bought 4 seeds from Blimburn. All dead.
Zero sprouts.. waisted $52.00
Blimburn Seeds Bank is just reseller of seeds that they dont even have posibility to check for quality... same thing is Fair Seeds from Czech Republic but they are selling same strains for 5€ per seed and Blimburn 15€
Blimburn have around 10 own models like Mamba Negra everything other they resell. Yes you can find a good plants between them me personally got very good OG Kush from them but lot of seeds are pure garbage that will never sprout really save your time and money and buy from reputable seedbank like Dutch Passion Sensi Seeds Barneys Farm etc.

started 7 blimburn strains for this years grow(s).
in germination
1 failed:
- GG4
6 successful:
- blackberry kush
- purple kush
- purple bubba kush
- godfather og
- silver surfer haze
- louis xiii

disappointing, but still not a deal breaker for me. i had more trouble with other breeders this year.
all blimburn that were successfully germinated are healthy (despite the freak hailstorm) and in vigorous vegetative growth.
