I'm not really worried about my ec or pH for that matter. I set it once and let it be because it's outside in the heat it'll swing on its own. And I use primordial solutions sea green grow which I fucking love. Stick a little amount every fill and the plants have no issues. But the enzyme, or so the internet tells me thus us what an enzyme does, goes to dead or decaying matter breaks it down. EC tests electro conductivity which tests chemical salts in the water. Which if it's organic material breaking down the spike shouldn't be that high... Right? But again I use an "organic" concentrate so I'm not concerned with EC bc you can't test that well with organics. Or again so the internet tells me
I just wonder if's a point where a good soil+bio food conversion to plant uptake levels out. To increase and sustain a bio population much higher than that uptake level could have them literally eating your money to sustain the over population. Ofc that could be utter bs if's no such thing as too many bio in a pot.

With air type pots theirs probably going to be a lot of dead roots for an enzyme to break down. I can't comprehend the converted availability of that break down in a synthetic system. So it either has little to no effect OR it quite randomly adds in X amount of Y depending on how much you use and how many dead roots where in contact at that given time.

Again going back to the few manufactures I've read with this. They don't explain much at all on it's applicable use, just what it does. It's the same annoyance of many base neut company's that will tell you a cool story of lush leaves but give you no technical data on the site or listing. Even if you don't understand that data you never will if ti's not available. If you do understand it you can't make a choice on that product. But that's a broader problem too.
