BIG BUD almost 12/12 from seed cfl grow

OK, so grow is nearly 12/12 from seed. I had the seed in an Aerogarden for about 3 days after they germinated. It was on 24 hours of light. I then moved to soil and put on 18/6 for about a week before switching to 12/12. Seed germinated on 12/7/09 and showed it's first flowers on CHRISTMAS!!!! Pics to come within the next couple hours. I'll be posting pics from about a week from germ. and finishing with current pics. Any comments or questions are welcomed! Don't be an ass, this is my first grow EVER!

Good luck. Sounds like you're off to agood start start. Give em light and water and let em grow.

Just to give u a lil more info... I am growing in miracle grow moisture control (not very good... never really dries out, easy to over feed... have had to flush twice to save my girl, but it's good to flush anyway) I've used MG flower bloom since it showed sex, before that, it was MG all purpose. I feed it nutes every other water, and every other plain watering, i add a lil molasses. Had a lil bit of a scare with either overfeeding or a magnesium def. but i used some epsom salts in a watering and it's been all good.

Pic1 - 121309 Only a week after germ
Pic2 - This is my grow set up... foil (i know it's not the best) and only 4 cfls... 2 6500k, 2 2700k
Pic3 - 122809 3 days flowering... you can't see, but there are 4 2700k lights on the top and 2 on the side... so 6 23watt bulbs for a total of 138watts
Pic4 - 10710 13 days flowering... added 3 more clf's to the top, bringing total to 9 23watt cfls for a total of 207watts
Pic5 - 10710 too also from 13th day of flowering... I had topped on the 26th... I know your not supposed to really after it shows sex, but who cares... I now have 2 buds on top instead of 1
Pic6 - 10910 15 days flowering... notice the new bushier look to the plant... startin to develop more bud sites... this is before i lst'd to get more growth
Pic7 - 11310 19 days flowering... I think it's in it's final pot at this point... still growin gettin bushier
Pic8 - 11810 24 days flowering.... more and more bud sites.... lower branches growing outward... hoping to get a few extra larger prominent buds from these
Pic9 - 11810 still 24 days flowering... just another angle of my lil girl

Here are pics of the girl as of today... I'm uploading a pic of the pots she has been in so you can look back at the older pics and really see the difference in the size of the plant... Also, I just tied her down yesterday to promote more growth... we'll see how it goes

Pic1 - 12010 26 days flowering... took a pic so you can get a size comparison ... that is a 1 liter bottle i use for CO2(water yeast sugar), the plant in its final pot, and the pots from the 2 tranplants. I just tied the plant down on 1/19/10 to allow light on the main stem buds and to allow light to hit all the buds on the branches...
Pic2 - 12010 still 26 days flowering... buds tied down... not even halfway through flowering and the buds are gettin some size... that's also the same 1 liter bottle from the previous pic, and the pic in the previous post


Any ideas on how much bigger the buds will get? how much total yield do you think i will get?

i dunno about putting more cfls in my little grow area. the temp gets to about 86 as it is, and down to 68 at night. Will more lights create too much heat? Some of the edges are still a bit dry from the nute burn and/or magnesium def. will more heat stress the plant? I have a small fan in there though. thinking about painting the area white. Will that lower the temp compared to the foil?

How much would mylar cost? and does it keep heat down? I don't know that it's worth it. Any guesses on what the yield might be? It's in it's 4th week of flowering.

mylar costs around 35 a roll,and if you added a couple more cfl's,the heat wont increase that much,maybe more air?A bigger fan,I dunno,just throwin shit out there.

Here's a few pics of the plant just before lights out. Better pics seeing as I took the time to adjust my camera on my cellphone... yes these are cellphone pics, shame. You can see where I tied it down to promote better bud growth and clearer pics of the plant in general.

Pic1 - pic of my girl. you can see those side branches developing nicely... they keep growing taller, i'm hoping they catch up to the top two
Pic2 - pic of top two buds... you can see a bit of the nutrient burn or magnesium def. which do you all think it was?
Pic3 - yet another pic of the girl. on the left is the main stem, and one of the branches to the right
Pic4 - Just the side branch. That bud is developing nicely
Pic5 - Top of plant... you can see where i topped and got two main buds. I think the side branches are also a result of the top... You can also see nice buds forming below the top two

I think what you are seeing is either the nutrient burn or magnesium def. There is a little white stuff on a couple of the leaves that isn't showing up on the pics, but it is from me foliar feeding a low dose of nutes.
