Like I said it looks like you were in week 5-6 not end of week 7 those buds are not big at all.. Those are skinny and lanky I grow fat dense colas protruding with trick omens and terpenes those are nothing.
please stop building your self up like that. yea your plants look real nice. no need to tell us how good you are. and how fat your buds get. you seem like a nice girl, but your mouth just keeps going and going and going...

Good Lord PK_Whateverthefuk you really like to flap yer gums. Yip Yap Clap Trap. To each his own but for fucks sake man...stop your yapping.

Dyna Gro Foliage Pro and nothing else. Not a wilted nutrient deficient leaf to be seen right down to the soil. No bloom booster nonsense.

That's how a garden is supposed look - healthy with plenty of rich green leaves to produce bud.

Homebrewer did a well conducted experiment with Dyna-Gro's Fo Pro and Grow. The high N Fo Pro, used from start to finish, yielded about 10% more than the 7-9-5.

What else would make fully matured buds start stacking calyxes/foxtailing like crazy...and if over used actually make your plant take longer to finish? It has to be something like that, what do you think?
Genetics..

I just saw my Green Crack plants start foxtailing early in wk 8.. I used nothing but Dyna Grow Foliage Pro 3-1-2 and a little Cal Mag (growing in Coco + extra N)..

I didn't use boosters.. my buds did the same thing.. genetics + environment is my best guess...

Most all buds start to foxtail more the longer you run them.. this is what I suspect anyway.

This is all totally true, however adding too much dry kool bloom or shooting powder will make it exponentially worse, and it happens unnaturally quickly. I will still get some foxtailing on certain strains no matter what, especially if it gets a little too hot in the summer, but nothing like the ugly buds that result from abusing bloom boosters - that's been my experience anyway. That's why I have always had a suspicion that 'unlisted ingredients' may lead to their effectiveness.

I could be totally wrong, however :)

giving them close trimjobs up to my high standards without putting a gun to my head 3 hours in

foxtailing is a trait that i literally do not allow in my garden

i toss the strain/pheno in the trash and keep ones that do not foxtail (at least not in my setup they never have)

its not that i think the strain is less potent or tasty... just too hard to trim around all that for 16+ hours in two days

so do you think it has to do with high pk foods as mentioned in post #226?

Nope! :D I call BS.... just dont care enough to argue
but do we believe that high pk foods aid in premature defoliation due to leafs dying off? I'm going to be honest and say it does. i use a pk booster from day 28 till finish, and I'm going to say that i do loose leafs the last 14 days of flower. they start to yellow a bit. however i have never witnessed a loss in potency or yield.

You should considering trying a KCaPMgSFeBMnMoZnCu booster instead.

i do not use any boosters anymore nor will I ever do so again. The fuck are you boosting unless the base fert is lacking  I have very little discoloration and zero defoliation other than what I prune off the undersides.
