hi,

as title says really.

if any1 has good experience / value from an internet site then please share the link so i can check them out.

it will probably be cheaper than getting them from somewhere like Homebase & B&Q (if they even sell them! - havnt checked).

just include info on things like, discounts u may of gotten, delivery times etc etc

thanks.

p.s i live in UK so would be better if i didnt have to buy them from over sea's!

right, these lights are doin my head in.

atm i have beein trying to find 125 - 200watt CFLs. finding it hard to find them other than environlite etc.

im wondering will any other bulbs such as halogen ones be better in terms of price and heat etc. as they are about the same physical size.

really stuck on trying to find the right bulbs. i tried to have a look on stickies / FAQ but cant find the difference between them.

also, when i tried to look for, say 125w CFL, only ones i can find is like 64watt etc.

if any1 can help that would be great

try traget.. or any local hardware store mann like the one i work at hahaa... you would want to go for the 42 watt (150 watt) cfl.. they are not cheap and the hardest to find man... the cfl are good because they produce little heat and good on the electric bill lol...

thanks alot! that was the number i was looking for 42watt!

cheapest i found was these: Fluorescent grow lamps

at 17quid (3 quid cheaper than environlite). think there like a cheap brand, just look like environlites design. might as well pay the extra 3 quid!

now i know its 42watts i can look at other brands. thanks for that.

I know you trying to avoid overseas stuff but im in the states and i recently picked up one of these High Tech Garden Supply if your going the way of fluorescent, i did extensive research on different floro lights and this was the best one i found, puts out the most lumens in the least amount of space and low wattage, one of these runs at 108 watts yet puts out as much as 2 85 watt cfl's and alot more evenly, has a nice fixture with good reflection, i love it. im gonna order another one in a a week or two, another thing, instead of you having to buy 2 of those envirolights 1 for veg 1 for flower, you can just get replacment bulbs for this thing, they are like 13 bucks for 2 and there are only 2 bulbs in the thing. just an idea.
this things works very well for me and i use it along with a few 26w cfls for some side lighting.

thanks, but thats over sea's. i dont know why but it seems quite hard to get hold of a 200watt bulb from a website from the UK.

if i did buy those bulbs it would prolly cost me alot on postage and id have to wait a couple weeks probably. plus... is that home depot in canada? im not sure of the exchange rate to canadian dollars, then ill probably get charged for converting pounds to dollars.

thanks anyway, im gonna try google those products in the UK.

The problem is most places like walmart that have them nice and cheap only have the 2700k variety of lights. The 6500k ones generally cost more it seems.
