What is the best hydroponic system for a 4x4 tent and a 4x8 tent? Looking for the most efficient system that produces the best quality possible
I'll give you the same answer that I did to the same question on GC. Coco Coir. Happy growing.Would an ebb and flow work better as compared to a DWC system? Given that I grow indica plants in an apartment and will be using:
- 1 vivosun 8" 720 CFM
- 1 ipower 8" air carbon filter, 20" length
- General hyrdoponic control kit for nutes
- 1 active air ACSC duct fan
- 4 skygenius battery operated clip fan
The system itself is last on the criteria for quality. Quality is genetics first off..and grower skill and ability second. Then light and after that...systems and equipment...way down on the list. With super top shelf genetics...a noob rookie with subpar skills and gear can still pull off something smokable. With shit garbage genetics...Ed Rosenthal with a turn key state of the art warehouse operation no expense spared will not pull off anything but turds. What is the best hydroponic system for a 4x4 tent and a 4x8 tent? It's all basically opinion, for the most part eh?Ive built or used just about every hydroponic "system" (its really different automated methods of nutrient solution delivery - thats all hydroponics basically is) and settled on top drip to waste using either coco coir or rockwool as the medium substrate. There is a reason its the default method for the vast majority of real pro cannbis cultivators (not home hobby growers) . Not many of them run NFT..Aero..or goofy bucket setups. But these are bigger growers as well. Flood and drain would be my other option if I was reusing the spent solution after one pass. Flood and drain for me was particularly awesome for my veg rooms as I run a perpeutual true seperate veg and flower rooms. And I might bust out my old flood and drain tables and slap them in my veg areas again sometime soon. I hand water with a wand, pump , & tank for now in veg. Iam a lazy fuck and flood and drain in veg suits me just fine. But hands down...coco coir or Rockwool in drip to waste. No question. And with 20 plus years under my belt...ive used them all at one time or another. Built quite a few as well.
