How many sour creams did you grow out. My buddy grew them out and said they were terrible by DNA standards. I thought you didnt like sour diesel how come you tried this strain Hazey? Seen you say it tasted like blueberry before, if you only started 1 you sure you didnt get a mixed up seed cause the sour cream i tried was pretty awful and it was grown good. Just wondering not trolling...

I just called the grower i know of Sour Cream. He said that there was no fruit of any kind. He said the smell was offensive, sour trashy with some spice. He offered me it, I declined....

DNA genetics' sour cream isn't technically a cheese strain as far as i know, but it really DOES taste just like cream cheese with hints of fruit yoghurt and is one of the most delicious strains i've ever tasted. it's also reasonably low odor unlike the skunk#1 based cheeses from what i've read of them, though it does have a skunk #1 style high. regardless, i love thatstrain's sexy odor/flavor. it really has some genuine bag appeal where i usually think of that as an insult against sativas
I grew a pack of Sour Cream once. It smelled so foul that you could smell it outside the house. My neighbor asked me if something died in or around the property. It was the first and only time my girlfriend gave me the its me or the plants speech. I ended up pulling it in the 8th week but it could have gone another two.

Did yours come from a single or a pack?

One Sour Cream that was a freebie, in fact, was a fine girl. Absolutely nothing like described above. It was very smooth and tasty even with a short cure; lots of folks including me wished there was more of that, but with low expectations no clones were taken.
Just another example that you really never know what magic may appear and from where. Nothing resembling cheese, imo.

However, just finished up a 3rd bean of Cheese Dom [ Freedom of Seeds ]. Another unexpected gem, as the first 2 were average. This was intended to be a back up, and got the last spot in the corner of the garden. She grew like a champ, turning into a stinky, sticky sparkling gem. The smoke is delicious; almost fruity, but with a bite. Again, no clones due to low expectations. Probably snag a 3 pack on the Attitude Dec promo, and hope to get lucky again. Just delicious, and effective.

my favorite cheese strain is cheesequake. It has all of the great medicinal qualities of the cheese but tastes so much nicer. Try it if you can.

Just this one cheese thats rather large and only week 5 is like no other smell I have ever delt with. It's not really pleasent or skunk like. My first description was (jmo) steak sauce with a hint of parmasion cheese linger. That's ok if your in an Italian steakhouse restaurant for 45 mins to enjoy a meal, but as for a house it just nasty earthy musky locker room.
I have to run an Ona bucket almost 20hrs a day.
