OK, I have a question or two for the blokes across the pond... (or anyone really), what do you think the best Cheese strain is? (Include seed company if you can too)

Have read that Barney's Blue Cheese is close to the clone, that is from brits that have the real clone.

I am growing the Blue Cheese but have never smoked the real clone. I ran a cheese from Dinafem and it was a good plant with some cheese taste. The high was speedy and not my thing.

Ye the BC from barnies is next best to the clone Ive grown.Potency taste-smell etc but with a sharp berry-musky taste (almost like pure exy clone).
None of the seeds ive done have come close to the clone they all have a chemichaly-skunky smell-flavour. I guess cheese like Even Big Bs Cheese.
They should all grow fast and strong as its Skunk#1

Forget all of the above... The best seed bank for cheese at this point in time has to be breeders boutique. They have cheese cuts some people would gift their left nut and a half to have... I have great admiration for dinafem but i doubt itd be danker than the boutique dankington.
I also want to leave on record that big buddah cheese is acceptable at best, in my amateur opinion. This is based on someone who used to make seeds for Big buddah telling me that one would be lucky to find something close to the real cheese in like 3 or 4 packs.
Barneys blue cheese is sweetest cheese ive ever come across, its too! tarty. I personally found it too tiring as did many others.
If you want you smoke to be chique go with breeders boutique. You need some southern poshness in your garden.

p.s.> Dna's exodus kush is incredible. Its all ive been toking for 2 months and im not tired nor have i built up a huge tolerance, I usually got through a coupla ounces a month i can hardly go through an ounce of this...

I grew out 3 from seed all pretty similar, perfectly complemented taste and aroma between kush and cheese. Ive gotten to the conclusion if you want real cheese you will not get it in seed form since the so loved traits in cheese are simply a genetic mutation on a skunk mother. You will however get crosses that make it very close to the original, hence my suggestion of boutique because theyre uk based and certainly have access to the original cuts.

But they use Cheese BX1..................................

UK as been over run by NON cheese (Cheese cuts) thanks to the likes of Greenhouse and Big buddah, unless you know one of the OLD school keepers its hard to say what you have

I live in UK and was gifted a clone but the same fella Dr rockster (Kaliman) since lost it to the law to.
The nearest in seed ive come is BF Blue cheese (its not 100% cause it as an awsome souur berryness to it) but its darn near. and ive done a few dutch .Worste (basic Sk#1) was Dinafems how they can call it a Cheese is beyond me, it is a great Sk1 though

There should be a law that if you get raided you should be allowed to keep your genetic stock. Take everything except the mothers PLEASE mr officer. lol I dont see why not...
On this note I had a friend who was studying law and decided to grow tomatoes and basil with all o the set up for cannabis and put the exhaust tube out the window to the main street to make it on top. He would then smoke his weed and all the smell would go out to the street. He got raided 4 times in the space of 6 months and got cautions and fines for small quantities of cannabis in the house. At the last court appearance he claimed that the police are harrasing him and the judge put an order to the metropoilitan police that you cannot disturb this citizen's peace any longer, hes proved to be a simple indoor vegetable farmer due to climate constraints. I might be missing some details from the story but now he can grow with the peace of mind that a police raid is most likely never eminent if hes careful how he grows.
So maybe worth trying something like this if youre in the uk.

Surprised to hear dinafems cheese is like a skunk1. Well at least they are close to the true source lol.
I hear Sensi seeds still has a good skunk1 though everything else ha gone to shit...

I don't understand this idea of clone only...didn't that mother come from a bean!? Can't you just Pop another until you have the same trait and breed those until the beans carry the genetic trait...nothing in the world is clone only or it wouldn't exist in the first place

Sounds like most people recommend Barney Farm's Blue Cheese, I'll give her a whirl in the next rotation hopefully.

Kaliman's cheese has some good reports. His story a lot of folks don't believe, but it is technically possible. I'd try to source a clone as they are out there all over the place and/or run Kaliman's cheese personally.

I can't remember if it's Eskobar of Dynasty [ Sannies ], but Chucky's Bride was terrific. Exodus cheese and c-99, if memory serves. Will do more when space permits.

1st post N00b here. As for cheese Im loving on my 1st (was told) Exodus UK cheese clone currently at about week 5. I can not confirm actual age of her. I received it when she had just started showing bud sites w/few white hairs. So I put her under 12/12 about 5 weeks ago. And she exploded with growth after a lil' pruning with some lower branches removed. T-5 HO (8 bulb 4') 6 at 27K - 2 at 65K Fox Farm soil and nutes. So heavy in buds I had to do some serious tie ups and downs. I think 2 two of her in a scrog would have been amazing yield...I mean she's large now. And we have all hear of that "cheese smell" I kid you not She smells like (don't laugh cause im being straight up) SMELLS like Steak sauce, with a hint of parm cheese. Simple guess she might be ready by Christmas harvest and just guessing 6+ Oz's ??? UK week 3.jpg UK week 3 b.jpgUK week 3 c.jpgUK week 4a.jpgUK week 4b.jpgtired up.jpg

So theres 2 real UK cheese cuts from what i gather. CSG uses the Brightside cut and Lady Sativa the Exodus. Jah Hoover of Lady Sativa grew up (Exodus UK)where cheese originates from so id say anything from Lady Sativa is going to be the real deal cheese. The Brightside cut is the smellier version and the Exodus is more juniper smelling. Some think there the same cut but Jah ran them both and said there not the same.

DNA genetics' sour cream isn't technically a cheese strain as far as i know, but it really DOES taste just like cream cheese with hints of fruit yoghurt and is one of the most delicious strains i've ever tasted. it's also reasonably low odor unlike the skunk#1 based cheeses from what i've read of them, though it does have a skunk #1 style high. regardless, i love thatstrain's sexy odor/flavor. it really has some genuine bag appeal where i usually think of that as an insult against sativas

How many sour creams did you grow out. My buddy grew them out and said they were terrible by DNA standards. I thought you didnt like sour diesel how come you tried this strain Hazey? Seen you say it tasted like blueberry before, if you only started 1 you sure you didnt get a mixed up seed cause the sour cream i tried was pretty awful and it was grown good. Just wondering not trolling...
