Ok. So I'm thinking about buying two 2'8x4'1x7'6 grow tents. Was thinking of using 400Watt HPS for bloom, And t5 ho 4 bulb setup for veg/clone what do you guys think? And does anybody have an idea of how many plants i could fit in there with 5-gallon or 3-gallon buckets or pots?

2 plants. I wouldnt do any more than that. It's not how many plants can you fit . . . it's how much conopy can you fill with buds. You can easily FILL an area that size with two plants. My 8 plants FILL a tent that's 4'9"x9'6" (7ft tall). I'm using 2gal hydro pots.

Well, see i'm a medical patient. I'm trying to figure out how much space I would need to start a perpetual grow cycle. With a *15 Plant Limit* EDVICE WELCOME AND NEEDED. P.S. The plants i'll be working with are original cut clones of DJ Short Blueberry. Flowering time of 45-65 days (from forcing). My friend crops every 21 days with a 30 plant regiment. So What could I do with 15.:wall::bigjoint:????

I would honeslty go with a larger tent but if you are doing a auto flower plants and such I dunno you prob could use the HPS all through and just keep it fasr away till they get a little larger however another point was brought up that you need good venting since tents get pretty hot and it wont be any different with a 600 HPS in there. I dont think the short will get above 20" ( i think?) because it is a dwarf as i remember but I could be a lil off, I'd go to home depot or w/e and measure the total width of the 3 gal and then throw those numbers into tent and see what u get, I have see autoflowered plants grown in 2 liter bottles cut in half so I am a believer that they can almost be planted in anything. Let me know what you think!

Again, it's about canopy space. You could lolipop a bunch of tiny ones. IMO you don't have enough space to do a perpetual harvest. You have enough space to flower 2 good sized plants at a time. That'll yield about 8-12 zips every 65 days. What's wrong with that?

PS. We're all medical patients ;)

Damn, hmm well this will be my first time around trying to grow. And ill be starting it in several months, Don't know yet if i'll be living in a apartment or small house. I dont wanna screw up because this will help ease the bills. so you say 8-12 what kind of techniqs are you using lol (FIMM,Top,Bending,)? Can anybody run by a scenario on both situations (apartment or small house).

what hes sayin is valid. for his situation. trees are for a room. not a tent. go for short production/sog. with 8 count 5 gals, assuming your starting with cuttings your looking at 3 foot 2 zip minimum followin an okay feeding sched imo. thats more then 2 at 12zips..... even more with 1 gal pots.

everyone has there own method. if your leaning toward perpetual youll want to look into more this style till you get more workspace. i mean you could start with one plant from seed and learn a bit :) gluck

I have had great success flowering in a 1 square foot area per plant ratio. You could easily flower 12 plants in there. Good Luck

Flowering a lot of small plants requires clones. Do you have a good source for quality clones? Are you going to start from seed?
