Hey guys
I just had an order seized by customs at JFK airport. They were coming from Herbie's. Anyone else go through this recently?

And does Herbies refund or send again? Was close to placing an order with them but the refund/re-ship policies aren't clear...

You contact them and they give the option of refund or replacement, then you wait a month or more till they actually follow through, if they follow through. I was using the chat interface thru the website 3 or 4 times a week till I actually got refunded. Herbies used to be awesome

damn dude. I'm really interested in some varieties from World of Seeds. Seedsman is all out of stock so Herbies seems to be the only one shipping them to the US (I think).

Sensible Seeds has all their stuff.

Customs seizures seem mainly isolated to Chicago and the east coast. You never hear about it out here on the west coast. I've gotten seeds from Sensible Seeds to my mailbox in under a week. That's pretty fast from the UK to Oregon. I watched the tracking on all of my shipments and they sailed through customs in an hour and were in my mailbox the next day. It was a little nerve racking when it was a $1500 order but no problems at all. The freebies and deals they have are extremely generous as well.

Interesting. I'm in the northeast and have never had any seizures (yet). Only ordered from Seedsman and Garden of Green though. Will check out Sensible Seeds - thanks for the tip!

That doesn't make me feel too good. I've had an attitude order sitting in customs in chicago since the 27th. I was hoping it was just delayed.

I just ordered over the weekend from herbies and have received all my goods. However no breeders packages, all seeds were repacked by them all of a sudden. Very disappointing. Might have to try someplace else next. Leaning towards north Atlantic maybe, never shopped there before
