Yes, Supposedly a felony conviction eliminates you from working at a dispensary.
There is a stipulation that if the charge is MMJ related, it can be reviewed and possibly determined not to inhibit ones employment.

I would assume this goes for small amount of possession and paraphernalia charges.
Getting poped for distribution or a grow I don't think will be overlooked by our illustrious state officials.

This is fact, directly pulled from the law.
Im not sure but I don't think a caregiver can have a felony conviction either...

If at any point they need to judge someones crime, they will obviously need the police report or some official account of the incident. (fact)

I have personally been previously employed by the state of AZ.
No, I do not have a record; but I have seen my peers get shot down at a lowly Real Estate agent license approval for a misdemeanor crime. (fact)

IMO:
If the actions of the state, leading up to this point in time, are any indication of what the future holds, the state wants to make it tough for cultivation.
If they cannot stop dispensaries, I foreshadow the next step will be to make the employee approval process very tough. ESP. for the growers.

This is also a right to work state. So I guess, in theory, if a grower is denied a position due to a previous conviction they could spend their money suing the state under this clause.
