I will tell u a story . it happ 10 years ago . A magical bulb was invented:
THE GAVITA.
Man that was going to change the world. Guess what it never happ.
Do you know why .
1)they suked and lied about thieir lumens per watt
2) none ever posted a "GAVITA GROW" because they all sucked and were horrible with their non- hoods.
My point is this , do i think LED is the fututre of hyrdo growing . Gavita was a great idea who was destroyed by phillips GE slyvania and a coupls of other crooks.
HELL ya . but im going to let u in on a secret .( ok quiet now) The HID and HPS AND MH bulb companies will crush any comp from LED .
sad but true. untill they run out of gas powered bubls we are in it for the long haul. once they can fig ure out how to make an LED cheaper then an HID. U WILL NEVER GET TO THE PROMISED LAND.
P.S.honestly how did that bud taste. i will value yer opinon because u went to great lengths to prove a point and stand up for what u believe in .

P.S.S. after many years of mag lite use i finaly got an LED one. I t works better then any flash light i ever had. same batteries for like 10 months now.
poin is if they can make a flashlight better with LED's why cant they make a real bulb for growing. IMO.(2 cents worth)

There was more than enough light for 2 more plants. I am in the process of equipping a whole new 10x20 shed complete with 6x10 nursery for mothers and clones the lighing here will consist of 6 sunshine systems glow panel 45's. For my flowering room will use 6 prosource 90w ufos, and 4 prosource 90w flower accelerator ufos, covering a 14x10 space. I will be staring a new journal soon showing off my new opperation in about 2 months time.

I was reading up on an led thread that was new to me, and seen your challenge. It sounds to me like you need to grow up. You get all hostile like some young punk with something to prove. Get a sense of humor.

Valid per whos research? did you do your own experimentation as I have?, or are you going by hearsay of others. Because I and others have had very successful grows that are on par with hps weights.
As far as starting anything. You made a challenge, I answered. You got buthurt. Well sorry bout that. So maybe for future reference you should refrain from such challenges if you cannot handle it emotionally when someone answers that challenge...

hi there, looks like you're kicking some butt with the leds, the plans for your new area sound off the hook, that is quite a bit of led lighting you're planning on tossing in
anyways, i'm a fan of the glowpanel 45 products, i use a few along with hps and cfl in veg and flower, it's working out well for me and my situation, i am super curious about the kessil products as well, cramming 21 leds into 1 die is pretty fricking nuts if you ask me, just wish they'd drop a bit in price so i could justify giving them a try

I think LEDs have huge potential but just aren't there yet. I looked all through the thread and read the banter back and forth and all that and really hate the drama. Chill people.
I was curious though if you had a picture of the entire harvest of the 178 grams. Those 5 branches themselves couldn't have weighed that much unless you kept them on the stems or weighed them wet. I have to say they are much better looking than I expected - looked very frosty with nice dense buds.
