Build or buy a small f/d table with a drain and put a tub under it,then you simply drain the tub when ready alot easier then vacuums imho,I built mine for like $40 with pvc pipe and a 18x24 rubbermaid tub,ofc this can be scaled up I guess.I lost 6 inches of vertical growth room but the ease of handling run off makes it worth it.I still prefer hand watering small amounts of plants.

Hope I don't seem rude or you take it the wrong way. How the heck have your autos taken this long?! You're on like day 99 from germ. My grow is on day 68 from germ and day 38 of flower.

Nah it's cool, They're almost 4 weeks over due, It's annoyin, however I've read that they usually run 2-3 weeks past info times anyway.

I had a few set backs, had to transplant early on, moved them in and out of the room twice for relative visit and landlord visit, then had a power cut for 48 hours where power was on and off a few times, had problems with temps and the tent is way over crowded which probably hasn't helped.

I think even with all those problems they look ok. I'll be doing an update today cause i chopped a few branches last night.

I feel you on the environment thing ...growing in a cold garage and not sealing up my tent has taken it's toll on my harvest date. I really was shooting for the 60 day harvest date that they suggest. Then found that even with ideal conditions they can still take an extra week or so.

To be honest I could of harvested on day 60 on some of my girls but they are still plumping up extremly well with my molasses waterings.

I feel like your strains could of played a part? I have a single 2 Fast 2 Vast strain thats awful popcorn bud type looking... While the rest is like thick bottles!

Yeah it's frustrating trying to get temps in range. After these finish I'm gunna clear the room out completely and position the tent in a better place. I had them spot on past few weeks but they've started getting on the high side again, no heating on at all and window open an it was at 31c last night, can't understand why when it'd been at 25c for the weeks before.

Yeah I've been tempted to chop. Trichs are cloudy but want to hang on. Everything I've read is to not rush and it's always better to go a little longer than to early.

Yours look good anyway, just had a flick through your journal. Nice job.

12th Feb (Day 55 Flower) - Temps have risen for some reason, nothing has changed yet it's 5c warmer than it has been the past few weeks.

Chopped a few branches off the front right one yesterday, this one had the most cloudy trichs and hairs receding. Only cut 3 branches, Smallest ones on there. They aren't the neatest but its for personal so bag appeal isn't high on my priorities atm. I've put all the sugar leaves in a sealy bag and put them in the freezer incase I can do something with them all once done. I've not cut because of impatience, I've cut to trial drying.

So, as a temp way to dry I got a box, pierced it with holes in the corners and put it in the wardrobe then set a fan blowing on one of the corners to circulate air through.

I'm thinking of cutting the rest of the front right one that I took samples from on Sunday and moving the one from outside in until the others get cut. Should be ready by this time next week. Trichs are mainly cloudy, just waiting for some amber ones.

Happy with the frostiness on the close ups. Look much better off the plants.

Yeah once I got my heater set up I haven't dropped below 60F even once. It has been my goal to try and hit that 60 day harvest mark lol

I still haven't checked my trichs yet! I'm holding on as long as I can till I harvest. I need to figure out my harvest plan... I don't have a location, method or drying racks to do it!... I was thinking just hang in the tent but that will not work properly and I don't want to stink up the house! Not sure what to do.

Just trial and error for us new growers lol.

Yeah I'm the same, as you can see above. I would use the tent but I have something running still. On my next grow I'll prob dry in the tent. It'll be easier to keep on top of conditions with the extractor fan. I thought about the boiler cupboard but there's no air circulating in there.

I've heard of resting bud on cardboard but the problems it can cause was not worth it to me. I see your hanging inside them :)

I plan on maybe stealing your idea and putting it next to my tent. But I've seen people put a temp gauge inside the area to monitor humidity.. Need it at about 50% I belive?

Yeah it's a makeshift rack almost.

Yeah that sounds like what I've read. 18-20c and 50-60%. But there's a lot of different info out there so only time will tell. In the box it's 20c with 45%. best I could come up with without spending money on more equipment.

Man your more brave then me on those trimmings! I only cut away on my lower stalking stretched stuff from the bottom of my autos. Got about 8.8 grams of larf that was no where near being ready LOL

I have a vape so I'm able to test stuff extremely early and still wet or right from the plant.

If there was a "Really Like" button I would of hit it for that bit of info! Thanks!! A very good read! Gave me more insight on how to properly dry and cure.

So I'm able to start inside my home at 68F (20C) but will need to go down to 62-64F (17-18C) after day 3.

Wonder if I could just do the cardboard box method in my heated home then move into the garage? ....blah it might be too cold and take much longer.

They make it sound simple to just drop it 3c, I don't think I'll be able to drop it and it be consistant. I'll probably just leave mine in there until it's ready to cure. Not many other options.

68 is awesome for drying. Just make sure the air flow is kept to a minimum but still there. I didn't like the cardboard box because it dried everything out in 2 days, but i also ran a carbon filter to it and it might have been too high. This last time I dried in my tent where i could dial everything in and set my CF on low (i have an inline fan controller) with much better results.

I hope you guys have a caliber hygrometer for curing, here you go:
