Hey im looking to start my first auto grow and was in need of some strain recommendations. I will be growing outside and would like to grow two or three different strains. I am mainly concerned about the high. I would like two of the strains to be an uppy sativa dominant daytime high will the last a milder indica. I really like strains that make you laugh and put you in a good mood. I was thinking something along the lines of mi5 or onyx or auto assassin for the sativa and possibly Himalaya blue diesel for the third. Are there any better options than this? Thanks

Short Stuff - Russian Rocket Fuel is a hybrid but is usually indica dominant you should see diesel coming through...
Short Stuff - MI5 is also a hybrid but tends to be more sat dom because of the ak47... or try Auto Assassin also ak47 crosses

both of these are usually done in 10 weeks, although sometimes they need a bit longer to fully ripen..

those are just one's i'm familiar with, but there are tons of strains and breeders out there... would recommend doing some reading and research (http://en.seedfinder.eu/) picking some then asking here if anyone has grown them or has any journals - alternatively try searching through the forums for journals

Got a few questions for anybody willing to answer, will switching the lights from 18/6 to 16/8 or 14/10 make my auto's flower faster or do they need as much light as possible while flowering? thanks

it is only a low nute npk as i am broke and cant afford anything in the hydro shop. 10-4-1 and 3.5-3.5-3.5 NPK i flushed last week and then nuted on the feed after that with the 10-4-1 npk.

Paradise Pandora update day 67... Well I'm afraid to say it but Pandora is no true Auto. I went from 20/4 to 18/6 to 16/8 and now 12/12. She is about as far along in bud production as most autos at day 40.
The good news is she is beatiful and will yield some serious dank. The bad news I have to buy another tent cause this bitch...

I have 2 Pandoras going right now and they started flowering after about 3 weeks (18/6). So far a very impressive strain. Some serious branching already. Outperforming the Automaria II I got going also. Right now I'm waiting for a nice day to move them out to their permanent home.

Crazy, glad yours are flowering at 3 weeks. Hope they keep flowering.... Mine took 32 days to show sex under 20/4. I then went 18/6 at 6 weeks, 16/8 at 7 weeks and I went 12/12 at day 65 or so. She is day 72 today and probably has atleast 4 weeks left. Maybe more..... She takes up a whole Grow Lab GL80. She didn't auto flower thats for sure.......... but I should get 3 ounces under t5 lights in hydro

The two beauties in the front are Pandora. The three in the back are Automaria II. All five are 3 weeks old today. Pandora is a beast already I'm very impressed. Excellent branching. The three Automaria II's have been flowering for almost a week now. The Pandora are a little behind they just started throwing off hairs the past few days. Pandora smells great already.

Just curious....what motivates you guys to grow auto flowers? Because the yeilds are real low compared to a normal size plant. Don't get me wrong i think there cool and I even grew a few last year. I just dont think i would grow them again.

Interesting. If you notice yours looks much more on the sativa side than mine. If I remember correctly from awhile back didn't you say it showed hairs after about a month? Did it just stall after that? At any rate, I'll be taking them out to the woods in a few days since the weather is getting nicer and they are overdue for a transplant. I'll keep you guys posted. I have 2 more Autmaria II beans and one more Pandora that I'll be starting in about a month or so. It's nice to have fresh bud in the middle of the summer while my photo plants are still vegging away. Pandora is really starting to stink up the joint already.
