Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

Hey all i'm sure it's been asked many times before but is there any general signs for when to start feeding auto's flowering nutes? I've got two pineapple express auto's at almost 4 weeks, already seem to be developing multiple budsites at about 18cm tall, any general tips or ideas? If they keep developing at this rate i'm thinking pretty soon?
I would probably start with flowering nutes if they are 4 weeks old. Depending on the medium and what kind of nutes you are using, I'd start at 1/2 strength and work up from there.

Hey sonar cheers for that, if i can't get any this week it'll be the first on my list next, they are currently in coco/perlite and on dutch master gold, full range including liquid light and saturator, sprayed with budwise hormone spray which they absolutely loved. Considering sticking with dutch master gold for flowering but i've heard some negative reviews and i want to try some snow storm ultra but i dunno if they'll mix lol. Does anyone here trim their auto's at around 4 weeks? Just taking a few fan leaves to get more light (600watt hps) to the many budsites that have formed just don't want to affect total yield at all, they responded to monster cropping in a big way though, massive knuckles on the stem.

Blue Himalaya Day 62 chop g.jpg

Just in time for Summer!

Harvest of outdoor Blue Himalaya, day 62, 2.5 oz wet.
Visual (naked eye) inspection: frosty, light mint green, slight brown cast, most pistils are brown/dry.
10x loupe: trichomes 80% milky, 20% amber, nice grouping.
Smell: berry, fruity, fresh Kush. Mild amount of odor, easily controlled. mmmm Kushberry!
Drying method: Enclosed, airated, tree-shaded, un-conditioned dry room, ambient temps (low:72 deg at night, 70% RH; high: 90 deg mid-day, 36% RH).
Cure: mason jars, conditioned, 77 deg, <20% RH.

Why did I harvest now? My naked eye inspection told me it was time; magnification confirmed this. The buds look almost like they would were they dry. I like a middle of the road maturation with mellower smoke, fewer breakdown components, with full effect, but less of a crash (ie, sleep). Especially in an indica, the longer maturation the heavier the stone. I don't know the strain, but I do know the genetics. This full effect smoke should give me an idea of what the effects would be with an earlier vs later harvest, high vs stoned effect, respectively, and I can adjust to my tastes.

Peace!

First time grower here. Got myself some Sweet Coffee Ryder from World of Seeds, and would like to know if my girl is somehow pregnant. Am I seeing seeds here?

She's preggers! Either a hermie (which is common as a partial hermie indoors looking like that, especially if feminized), or you have been pulling apart some buds that have pollen on them and caring for your girls. Both have happened to me. Outdoors, I have had entire crops ruined by regs sativa pollen that someone probably thought would be fun to toss into a field nearby. Germ'd them and they were mostly crap. I did end up with a crazy pheno mother 8 months ago that is basically (Warlock x unknown sativa (wild)) backcrossed to Warlock. She will flower from clone in 55-63 days in a SOG setup if you can keep them alive that long. These plants will literally be almost dead if you go to full-late maturation at 65 days indoors and hermie seeds are common. At day 60 her high is mighty, clean, racy, thinky, jump up, go go go "24 hour power, no shower"! Been smoking this for 6 months daily and no burnout (rare for me). Gave the mother to a buddy of mine since the clones die outside. He gave out 50 clones in June so many people wanted it. That's why I love growing. Even in the midst of disaster a little gem was born I wish I could recreate (seeds do not germ, not really mature before plant death, pollenating doesn't work well).

Happy growing!

Thought I'd stop in and share.I grew a Sweet Dwarf a few months back and snapped a few pix.First off the reason the leaves have burns on them is because my wife sprayed a foiler using FF grow big and water. She said she mixed less then the amount the bottle had asked for.Anyways the plant still grew and we got some killer weed from her.Yield was only 14.2g but it was one of the best I've smoked in a long time.

400w HPS,18-6
2gallon pot,FFOF soil with perlite added
FF trio of nutes lightly used
Harvested around 60 days.

Hey guys,

The girls are chugging along. Finally got a pic. update for you all.

Maybe 2 -2.5 weeks left for the Snowryders.
I'll give the White Sharks 3-4 more weeks pending maturity.

7/4 the girls recieved some molasses and water with a splash of lemon juice for pH 6.7.

7/6 The White Sharks split 1.5 gallons of water with 6ml of Cal-Mag+ and 12ml of Liquid Karma.

The Snowryders will get water and molasses tomorrow.

Nice work man. If those pics are from right around harvest, I probably would have waited another week. Maybe a little larger pot would have helped the yield a bit too.

You have any pics of the Low Girl? I grew it out last year and haven't really seen anyone else grow it. I didn't get much off it, but I think it would have done much better under better conditions. The smoke was pretty good though, very piney.

Still not seeing any trichome production on any of the autos ive currently got going. They are Barney's Pineapple express, Greenhouse super critical and an Easy Ryder. They are currently on day 32 from seed, and had all started flowering by day 16. All healthy looking plants, with multiple bud sites which are developing nicely, just no sign of resin.

Anyone had any experience with these strains? When am I likely to see the trichs start appearing?

Thanx, The pix were taken with alil over a week left to harvest.I've grown a few autos and by far this has to be the most potent I'vs tried. When the Low girl gets alil bigger I'll take some pics.

Peace,
Low
