i dot know how u did your maths but its not even 1 cube of air.mate u got your maths all messed up. what you got there is .23 cubic metres not 2.3 think about it a cubic metre is 1m high x 1m wide x 1m long. yours is 1m but only half that in diameter so it would easily fit inside the cube you follow. the correct maths is v=pi,r2h. so volume = pi x radius squared x height

3.14 x (.275 x.275) x 1 = .23758

sorry stoned...

I was all like 'Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee
Around the circle is pi times D ------> C=pi*d
And if the area is declared
Use the formula pi R(radius) squared -----> A=pi*r(radius)*r(radius)' in my head, as maths was my best subject....

just am stoned at the moment
:joint:

hey at least I am honest, I could have lied and said I just place the decimal point in the wrong place. ;)

your cooltube is going to be 150mm so your fan is going to be 150mm.

im not sure how u plan on running a carbon filter in that kind of space unless u can find some sort of inline filter? i dont know much about carbon filter but i know that the 1 i have hangs in the grow space and the air is drawn through it u wont have room for that u would have to find a way to have the air drawn through your cooltube then through some kind of inline filter instead. i know they make these for airconditioner systems but i have no knowledge about them at all.

dont feel bad i had to google how to do the maths lol. i just know from work when we move piles of dirt we work with cubic metres a lot so i just pictured the tube in my head and new it wasnt a cube, i didnt mean to come across rude or anything just trying to help.

Could I have the fan, ballast and carbon filter sitting outside the 'cylinder dome'? The cylinder dome with cool tube light inside can be moved around easily (just along 3 metres, the width of 4 wine barrels)...and have the equipment on the outside?

Hey fuckers, been busy as with a boat load of relatives, just caught up, looking good.
Miyagi has run his filter in "reverse" from the begining! most recent filter has lasted through 2yrs of staaanky bitches + me smokin billies and durries in the tents. If you trace it back it is conected to flex duct with 50mm lagging(insulation) then to the 200mm centrifugal which is wrapped in lead lined wave-bar, then 200mm lagged flex onto a 2ft section of duct. off of this duct comes 4 different size flexs, unlagged but with balancing dampers in each and each is therefore adjustable in flow. Each runs to a seperate tent so all 4 run off 1 fan and filter and you can't hear or smell shit. All tents maintain a slight negative pressure which I find advantageous. If you use insulated flex duct it removes 90% of the noise from the fan. Wavebar is what they use in govt and commercial buildings and costs over $100/roll. With Lagged flex as they call it you dont really need it but I'm a fussy cunt.
Peace for now my cannabrothas
