Aurora Indica: Should it be this simple?

hackel, a 1 pap is a just a single 1 zigzag rolled up, i barely ever roll them, its not enough for me, i used to smoke like WAYY to much weed when i sold it amonst drugs,i would say other drugs, but we all know weed aint a drug. I would smoke a whole blunt to the face and an hour later a 2 paper (L or J) and keep going and going, about 10 grams a day, when you said 1/4 oz a month i was like wow i miss those days( 4 years ago)
i smoke like 3 grams a day i would say? i medicate with it, i dont really get that high anymore, i get normal with the weed you know? everythings clearer for me so i just constantly smoke, but not enough to get really high and fuck up my shit im doing that day, i go to work, school, chill with my parents and family, and everything on weed, i couldnt see doing it without a little thc in my blood, but i dont wanna be high you know? all giggly and not able to listen because my mind wanders, i need it for the medical shit, i would die from all the muscle stress and bullshit i deal with on a daily basis. Dont get me wrong, when i get home from work or school if i have it, i love to get MANGLED off of like 6 bowls straight, but you cant do that shit throughout the whole day if you plan to live any sort of productive life, as the great Emcee Canabis once said,
"Any Body will get lathargic from weed smoke"
I know 99% of people who read this will say im addicted. i do too, to higher understanding, if i didnt smoke chron i dont know what i would be doing nowadays, probably some drone in society thinking about money and cars and all the other bullshit, I thank god for the herb he gave us.
Verry well put :bigjoint:

Its worth the slight *Cough* slight bit of memory loss and lack of being able to remember hardly anything ! Like which thread am i replying to .............

...............must be time for another bowl eh CaNNaBiZNeSS :joint:

How is the lady hackel?
All I can say is that she has made her comeback and is looking less and less like aything really bad ever happened, some burned blades are still holding on , but it loks like the flowering process will be frozen in time until I can get thes temps reliably under 80. I found a dresser and I am all excited about getting it set up the way Curb set up his, but until then I have to do what I have to do. Mainly, that is go for the next month or so with a flowering plant in a heat-induced stasis. After I get these two plants finished off I will grow the bagseeds out and try to get some more to last me a while and maybe hope for at least one male to get some seeds. If this dresser grow doesn't give the temps below 80 that I need, I will just have to give up on indoor growing and focus on outdoor when I can securely do so. This dresser is my last chance to be able to keep me in meds, as I just don't have anymore money to dedicate to it right now... I have the needed tools and I can spare 40 bucks for a fan and some hinges, but after that I am sunk. I will not have the time to get it done for about a week. Wish me luck!

Things are going... The plants are still alive and kicking I hope to see come changes for better soon. I am just really too busy to fiddle with either plant much or take pics. When things cool down I will. Shit! I almost long for the days of nursing school, right now! lol

I germ'd four A.I. seeds last night and threw them in some soil this morning. I think I can see the verrry top of one of them pushing the shell up, and I could see one taproot that came up, saw it was going the wrong way, and turned right back down, hopefully i'll wake up to a little more progress from the other two.
I just have these visions of them all covered in buds. I drool when I think about smoking this stuff, hahaha

Def take some new pics man I'm curious to see them!

That is the part that I liked least about growing this strain... I never grew any plant like this and with no prior experience with the species or even the strain, for goodness' sake, each seed is like all of the infinite possibilities that could ever be... locked in a little pinhead-sized parcel. I can be overwhelming if you are already high-strung, like myself.

Be patient, cat. It grows quicker than you would imagine! Nirvana could change the name from Aurora Indica to The Two-Month Monster!

I will be getting onto pics hopefully tomorrow. But I have some odd news.

Bad news then scary news preceeding good news followed by THE greatest news of all!

The bad news is I caved and bought another ounce (which I said I would never do again). The scary news is that my dealer has a source that informed them that I was a brand spanking new nurse. Scary news, in that you usually want to keep your personal achievements off of your dealer's radar, depending on who they are. The good news is that instead of the $110 worth of regs (an ounce in my neck of the woods...), I was given the graduation gift of a strain that I never dreamed could have existed! I will just have to coin a new "ism" but the buds don't break apart. Instead they stickily ooze apart in a slow tearing fashion. They also don't grind well, as they are too sticky and just grind a small bit and proceed to make little natty balls in my grinder. This has to be what a true sativa feels like as I din't want or need to sleep at all last night. To put it into perspective, the smoke was so good that when I came down about 6 hours later, I felt honor-bound in writing my dealer a "Thank you" note. I have yet to get one out to my suspected mole.

The Greatest news of all is that they must have known that I have plans to grow whatever nice strains I can get seeds for and in the bag, in addition to the few seeds in some of the nugs, the bottom of the bag was full of some of the biggest, healthiest seeds I have ever seen! I WILL be growing this strain once I've perfected my growing capabilities!

To those of you with herb, smoke up and have a great night... Pics will be up first chance I get tomorrow morning regardless of how embarrassing they are!

Oh I started tinctures of two different methods (The traditional (2month long) method and cold (3 day long) method.) The cold is to carry me through two months of waiting for the traditional (for comparison) and my eventual harvests... Forgot to take pics, though. I will document the processing of Johnnie O from start to finish. It shouldn't be too much longer.

I am back to restful sleeping on my time table , again, and close to finishing up the last little bit of work before I get my license!

God! Could you believe I wasn't high wen I said that? LOL:eyesmoke: :o hahaha

That right there was three jokes in on! Gotta be a record!

This stuff just doesn't snap apart as they break... more like they let themselves part after careful consideration. The color is a strong green and, though flattened a bit, these individual buds are small but boast tremendous amounts of trichomes coating each which could easily amount to 60 or more per nug. The occasional seed is found, but certainly not obsurd in number. The smell strikes at first by being just dank, like something juicy left in the bottom of a closet for a while. The second strike is, thankfully, a slow build to a near-overpowering pine soap smell. Honestly, it is almost exactly what I had imagined from Icurbyou's description of his recent harvest... Hmm... could it be?

The smoke, though coming from a day after cleaning bowl from a DIY 'Devil's Trumpet' (In glass form, of course! Gotta do it right.) gave absolutely no 'green' taste at all! I would have to say the smoke is not like my regular, which barks at you a bit with a scratchy throat for the first week and leave you alone after that... No. No. This stuff will command your eyes to glaze with tears and cross if you don't give it room! It give me a stuffy nose but makes up for it by being smooth and quick to retreat as far as its, purely, earthy flavor. This plant was done justice near to, and long before, its death. If this is always the case with well grown weed I will have to renegotiate the terms and implications involved with the meaning of, 'hardly ever smoke weed again.'

The high is a quick-hitting up-in-your-brain high. The kind that is perfect for standing around with your eyes closed listening to music. (As a multiple, low-dose-daily user coming out of a few days of drought, The little tingly, wobbly, mirror-gravy sensations that your hairs get; are much more mild than my usual strain in character but far stronger in intensity that I ever recall before.) The high lasts for 2-3 hours before letting up slightly and letting go of some of it's grip and a couple hours later dumping you from smiling idiot, to HIGHLY motivated idiot. (Definitely one for wake and bakes!) Not even a hint of drowsiness after that one bowl. And it was a loosely-packed blown-glass bowls

It had some other qualities that, I figured stood out and bore mention. Sadly, though infrequent, paranoia. Dizziness. Illusions. But, also, gladly, Illusions and Dizziness. The close-eyed visuals are fantastc and intricate enough of convice you that, little else than standing up and swaying to music is really worth doing. I'd give that a Semi-couchlock, I guess. But very clear, as well.

Since I will probably get no answer as to the strain from the source, I will have to go ahead and name my bonus generation of seeds as, "Mystery Strain: Babycakes", until I can figure out what it is. What do you think? "I'm gonna smoke mah Babycakes / (even better) mah Mystery Strain: Babycakes, tonight." I, for one can see see it... POP!

Well, hope you enjoyed the smoke report. Y'all know I tend to ramble after a good bowl, so I hope I didn't lose too many with that one.

Man.. that reminds of summer times... a pure medicinal hard workers weed. Lets you stay focused and get the job done! (reminds me of hitting a vaporizer but from a joint)...

So ah.... How those ladies looking!??

100 percent! By the way, your avatar is Brilliant! I will be taking them after I wake up. The lights will be on by then.

I never tried a vaporizer but I smoke a little sliver of hash once. I can only say, is nothing short of a rare treat.

After, three days of not being able to check Johnnie O's condition, I finally had time while the lights were on to check my progress.

The outcome after what little I could do after the initial burn is nothing short of tragic. I doubt she will recover from all of this. One entire brach has died off. some of the hairs are redish but I couldn't say it was maturity that prompted it's end. The plant is dying off ready or not and there is nothing I can do.

The pics will show a few of where I thought she was making a comeback and the last two are what I am left with. A naked, dying beast and a second chance to get it right.

I had really high hopes for this grow and many of you did as well. It ends this way.... Failure at the final stage of flower.

My guess is with all that burn stress and no leaves to give it energy, the continuing of flowering drained the little vitality that was left in her.

On a lighter note, I cut the dead branch off and tried a quick sampling. It was weak, but a very heavy stone. I got some results.

This new box, when I get started will focus on temp control, stability of lights and fixtures to prevent burns and falls, and little else. I will be going a lot more refined and controlled with my clone and my many bagseeds. I have a few more AI seeds so I will be starting a new journal rather soon after I quit this job to switch to the hospital. I am guessing I will have a month of unemployment (bad for my bank account, great for my planting) So I will definitely have the time to dedicate to it. Keep an eye out for my second chance journal, which will most likely have a rather varied sea of green style and more experienced care... That is if I haven't turned you guys all off of AI and everythign else.

For today, that is all I have. Thank you all forfollowing along.

Damn man,

Did they grow to high into the light?

So how far behind did that put you? I might be harvesting before you now. That sucks!

wow, you really did kill those plants, huh. Hey, don't feel bad, I think my first one turned out worse.
Second time around I bet you'll have a MUCH better idea of what you're doing, I know I do!
I dunno what sorta space you're dealing with for your new cabinet, but my flowering box has been a steady 81*f with the lights on, and thats with four 40w CFL's, two 120mm fans, and its not a huge box either, so you can DEFINITLEY make a nice cabinet and have the temps steady and where they need to be, regardless of how many lights or how much space you're dealing with.

I'll be updating my journal tomorrow afternoon with some new pics. I thought only 3 of the 4 A.I. seeds I planted would grow (thought I killed one), but they're all looking nice and healthy, and I just finished putting together my new and improved veg/mother PC case, I'll post pics of that too!

It seems like every Aurora Indica grow journal I find, either the person posting just disapears all of a sudden or something happens where the grow is cut short. I don't plan on letting that happen to me, knock on wood!

Nice score with your latest purchase! Sounds like some good bud to me! Hopefully I will only have to BUY weed 2 or 3 more times before I become "weedily independant"
I'd love to see some pics of that ounce!

Anyway I'm half asleep a little buzzed and very stoned so i'm gonna stop rambling.

I will definitely try to swing by your grow and see what you've done, and I am certainly not calling it quits on growing for myself, but I have to spend almost all of my time resources securing this license. I will hopefully have my NCLEX date scheduled this month and about a paycheck later, I can start to grow out some more of the AI and the other two strains that I have acquired seeds for. I am really excited about what this graduation present will be like.

Yeah, dont give up man. Keep on going. It seems as though you are learning to grow pretty good. Would be a shame to have to stop.
