Attitudes return policy is unfair

When I order merchandise from Amazon and it's defective, I dont just shrug and say 'it happens'. I expect a return or a refund. If I got a dodgy looking seed from Attitude I would expect the same. They aren't a charity. A business should give fair value. They know their customers are expecting viable seeds. If they only sold to people who buy them as 'souvenirs' they'd be out of business. But if they want to stick to that charade, then I would tell them souvenirs ought to look right. If they stiff me I might challenge the CC charge.

But this is hypothetical. I've only ever placed one order with Attitude, and this was recently for $181. Every seed looked nice, delivery was fairly quick and the packaging was professional. I love their Pick'n Mix :)
really?
you realize that amazon is a completely legal business right?
the moment you tell Attitude the seeds didnt grow, you void out any warranty with them because they were only sold as souvenirs, and souvenirs do not get germinated. it would be the equivalent of you calling Amazon and telling them you bought an iPod, and now after leaving it submerged in water overnight, the iPod has stopped working. you voided the warranty.

Attitude is a middle man, once the seeds arrive unharmed at your door, their job is complete.

good luck in the future

Quoted for an oasis of truth in a desert of madness. Well said that man.

Most seedbanks have no problem with replacing seeds which arrived damaged or crushed. They can't replace seeds for germination for very, very obvious legal reasons. If they're a decent or reputable site then this will be laid out pretty clearly in their FAQ or disclaimer or whatever. These are the terms and conditions they HAVE to use to operate legally. Don't like it, don't order. Simple.

Yup, I agree, $25 gave me too small of a sample, 2 seeds. I was too optimistic and thought I would have two nice plants going by now. Anyway, I'm over it and yes, after a little thought, I may order from them again now that I know the game. I just won't expect any special favors from attitude if I end up getting the uorg blues from them down the road. I'm also looking at the jackberry from sannies. Both are 10 packs. I'm also considering a humidity dome with a heat mat and t5 light. Maybe my paper towl method isn't as good in this colder weather as I thought and I don't want to fu$ck around with any more seeds not germing for me.
Yup. Most likely it's the breeder's fault not attitude. I had seeds that crushed easily from Barney's via Dr Chronic and one from Delicious seeds via Attitude. FYI I do not recommend both breeders. There are so many bunk genetics out there, research and wise selection will save you years of wasted efforts.

Go ahead and get something from Sannie's. The best seed i popped this year was from them. They have killer line up. Can't really go wrong with then. Jackberry should be excellent. I have jackberry x ko Kush, I'll be expecting big things from it. :)

I have a crushed one right now. Looks like whoever packed it crushed it with the tin lid. They asked me for some pictures and i sent them some. Kind of hard to see a close up of a crushed seed though with my phone. I dont want to germ it, because then i definitely wont be able to return it. All my other seeds were fine also.

yah, people don't realize that growing marijuana seeds is against pretty much every countries law, and by germing a seed, you are more than likely breaking a law..
the way that the attitude gets around these laws even though possession of cannabis seeds is legal in the uk and several other countries up till the point of when you germ them, is they say that the seeds are sold for when laws are changed or for souvenior purposes or what have you.. so when you call them up / email them and say that you tried to germinate seeds that they sold you, it's pretty much all on you at this point as when they sold the seeds to you, they told you they weren't for germination purposes ...
and on top of that, i never understand why people blame the bank they bought the seeds from for germ problems.. these people didn't make the seeds, simply are the middle men between a breeder and the grower.. if anything, get pissed at the breeder for selling bunk seeds..
tell them they were cracked when you get them, and get some bunk bag seeds and smash them up and send them back if you want to go that route is my thinking...
i've never had a crushed bean nor a whole pack of seeds where not one would germinate for the most part, and i buy tons of beans from many different banks..

Attitude's customer service is some of the best in the industry. As far as I know, they aren't allowed to legally be shipping unless it is for souvenir purposes.
It may be unfair but you should hate the system instead. I mean if you read the Attitude terms and conditions of sale, they pretty much state flat out that they will ignore anyone who references growing or germination.
My return excuse is usually that the seed arrived damaged and they've always been good about sending me replacements. So just use the word "damaged."

Agreed although I do thhink attitude should stand by the products they sell even if they're the middle men. Its easy to hide behind the whole souvenir/not the breeder thing and sell loads but if the seeds from a breeder are subpar (green or whatever) then attitude still shouldn't be selling them. to go with the amazon comparison, if Amazon sold faulty dvds youd expect them to replace/refund and then take it up with the manufacturer of the dvds, they wouldn't send you to the manufacturer yourself.

As to Sannie he is excellent!! Love him, never had a problem and killer line up as you say!:joint:

Do Amazon sell DVDs which are illegal to play?
