Sub this shiz and + rep to you....

And here I was getting all concerned about having 30" of vertical growing room..... But Burn through roughly 6oz a year. I definitely want max production out of my limited space. Keep it up my friend!!!

Thx for the positive karma.

I'd love to have your 30" skydome. I have 8" from the rim of the pots to the bulbs at full height.

All good on day 14. This plant has doubled in size the last seven days. It's working on the 4th set of leaves so I'm gonna start LST in the next few days.

The bottom left is the other one. Half the size of the 1st plant. I'm smelling a very faint green goodness aroma when I open the cab so time to pick up some carbon sheets for this grow. Besides watering now and then not much to do except let em grow.

It's just under three weeks now. The pics just below are of the bigger one. Lots of hairs showing. It's pretty pundgent, I'm gad it's summer with the windows open. Surprisingly the cab temps are running a couple degrees cooler than the winter grow I just did. I can't figure out why.

This is the smaller one. Some hairs have popped. Lst is keeping her low and open on the bottom. Looks as good as the top one but smaller. Must be the genes.

Day 41 finds my Low Riders happy and healthy. Runoff water was around 6.1 ph so I adjusted the water on last nights water to 6.8 and the runnoff was at 6.5. LST has them spreading in the right directions and I'm just tucking the big fan leaves to expose the buds. Cab around 78 degrees. I picked up a gell air freshner and set it on top of my air exchange tubes behind the armoir. I smell a mild clean laundry aroma and no ganj odor. I think I finally found a solution for the extra odor the carbon sheets don't scrub. Btw, the first LR grow has been curing in the jars ogpoing on 4 months. The smell is decent and taste has really smoothed out. One concern is I'm going out of town on 9-2 for two weeks. I don't think they'll be done by then. I'm wondering if the self watering devices would work. I think you attach a bottle to a connector and run a feeder hose into the pot somewhere. Anybody ever use something like this with any success?

nice thread Im doing a cab grow with 4 from seed girls and 2 clones at 12/12 light cycle right from the get go. Im expecting small plants as well. but yours are tiny. Very cool with a desent yield for such small plants. Good job and good luck on this second one. They seen to have more leaves this time round. Are you doing anything different? Killer.

I don't know Killer. The first grow started out in crappy soil and I replanted in FFOF after two weeks. I don't think they ever recovered from the bad start tho the yield surprised me. I'm also using a ph meter now and staying on top of that. I think I may have been blocking some nutrients last grow by running too high ph levels from tap water. My water comes out of the tap between 8.0 and 9.0. About 11 drops of vinegar brings it down to 6.5 and they seem happy. You must have a big cab to have 5 plants going at once. Two is my max.

Subbed & +rep hope everything goes well on the 2 weeks away from your grow
Appreciate tthe good vibe man. My plans have been pushed up to 8-18 now for two weeks. I'm two months away I guesstimate to harvest. I checked out a self watering dvice at OSH. A plastic bottle with a tube out the bottom that you insert somehwere in the pot. I have to research this pronto. I'd hate to lose this crop and waste the electricity I burned up getting this far.

I haven't updated in a while. It's around day 95. I was out of town for 17 days and the plants survived but under great hardship. They were watered every 7 days and at some point my cab fan seized up and I came home to a cab temp of 91 degrees. Both plants lost their large fan leaves and this one in particular has a bonzai appearance, again. But, the buds are heavily frosted and still growing. Trich 98% clear still. Not ready for chopping yet.

This one is futher behind. Tric developement is only in the inner buds. Looks promising once it starts to really ripen. Short Rider is not a low odor strain. Odor is a daily struggle. If I could chuck them outside somewhere I would. I figure at least another week for the 1st plant and probably three for this one, or more. I need them to wrap up pronto. I'm not going to rush them tho.

Hello all~ It's 15 weeks now and one of my plants is ready to be chopped. I've watered it for the last time a few days ago. Only a few amber trichs but I don't see any new growth.
The other one is a couple weeks away. It's starting to frost up somewhat. I'd say I've got at least on oz. between the two, maybe a fair bit more than that. I had another two week period earlier this month where I couldn't access the cabinet besides one watering. They kept plugging along never the less.
