SWUSAZ- You like the LED? I am thinking about adding one to my 600w on the light rail as supplement lighting. Thanks mang.
Sure do like LED whether by itself or side by side it will change your garden very nicely every time.
PuffPuff mine is the flower model which veg's out of this world with node spacing that will make you wish for a bit of stretch. LOL I just fimed my Photo's Cheese, Mazar and Blue Widow for their third time and they are only 3 to 5 inches high. Best part is I should see new branching within 2 days under the LED.

You are the first person I've seen in Arizona to say LED is great for supplemental lighting. I have been saying that for years. To me that is the most optimum way to use LED. mixing it in with the HPS or MH is ideal.

I justed planted vanilla kush, top dog, wild thai, blackberry sativa, super skunk. I am a zonie through and through. How I beat the heat is by using T5-HO you can get multiple spectrums if you know what you are doing and you don't have to cycle hot air out of the way and yes all az indoor growers use a/c :-)

I am currently using 2 stealth grow SG602's for supplemental light in my flower room; each 3x3 tray has a 600 watt HPS and one SG602 panel. My plants are loving the lighting going on in there. For veg I use one sg602 veg panel, these thing work great for vegging. I tried to flower under one SG602 but I feel there was not enough power (350 actual watts) per tray. The LED's produced some of the best looking bud I have seen in a long time but the yield was under expectations. I'm hoping to get some of the great Tricome coverage from the LED's while adding some Weight with the HPS.

I think I am into sativa's more... it's definatley easier to find indicas or kushes at the compassion clubs. Last time I went they five diferent strains three of them were kush lineage. Any one growing super lemon haze? or any really good hazy strains?..... I thought I saw someone growing ak

It is true as sup lighting but even with the panel next to 400 HPS over some auto's they still turn their leaves to the LED even though it is 300+ watts less powerful and a couple of feet away with the HPS at 10 inches right above their heads. I will be going all LED again as soon as I can afford a couple more and totally dump the MH/HPS except in winter when I need some extra temp. But the bulking with the LED takes a substantial time longer and the girls seem to want to just continue to flower for ever. Hell on my first LED only grow I had Master Kush that did not want to finish even after 100+ days in flower until I axed the cycle to 10/14 then to 8/16.

You are correct. The plants will lean more towards the led only because it is more a "pure" light. Because of the mixed spectrum the plants seem to like it. BUT you will never be able to compete when it comes to the yield aspect. I've seen a few led grows recently in California and I must say the plants look amazing! But even they were telling me they wish they never switched over completely. they have saved a lot more money in energy but in turn it is about the same cost because they are now producing less. As a result, the owner of the warehouse said he wished he would of not been on the ban wagon for the LEDs and in turn done more research. They are now starting to run both hps with LEDs and have been telling me that it is truly the best. They get all the mixed spectrums from LEDs plus the intensity of the hps. Which, in the end, you get the outstanding colors in your bud plus the density everyone craves. I've seen alot of led grows and IMHO it isn't worth it to me to only run those.
