how's that for an explanation?
Did you see how hard he tried to troll me and obfuscate every point I made in the other thread? We literally went from him claiming that healthcare in the US is socialist to how available VA healthcare is because he could not argue that PPACA is socialist. He is just a troll.

No, please expound and include citations.

Are you poor? That would be anecdotal evidence to support your assertion.
Stupid people have trouble learning, retaining or conveying knowledge by definition.

Only in Politics are their high paying jobs for people of this type...

So you were indeed simply trolling me in the other thread, got it.

Rephrase your question. Are you asking me to admit that people are poor because they're stupid?
Not stupidity, ignorance, there is a difference.

This could be a cool philosophical debate if we wanted.

I believe the majority of the poor don't know how to be anything else. Those that go to the government for assistance are given a fish instead of tools to fish with perpetuating the problem.

I'm sure I can find a study to back this up, it's humanities, we can find studies that will agree with us no matter the opinion, so I'll keep it philosophical.

From my experience, there are recurring traits that most poor have. The belief that it's not their fault and the belief that the government isn't doing enough.

It's a common thought that if we divided all the money in the country up between us, within 6 months the vast majority would be back in their present situation.

Our war on poverty while noble, is misguided. As the OP says, 22T in real dollars. That's money that could have been much more efficiently spent. We now have 4th generation cradle to grave welfare and that's a shame.

Lie again, I'll call you out again. Have you noticed the pattern yet?

I said we have a mixed market health care system. You said there is not one iota of socialism in our system. I pointed out the many examples.

All you have to do is stop lying and this trolling goes away.

I would think that he would be at work, since he apparently has such disdain for people who would rather not work.
Got a link for that? In fact I can show you post that you directly quoted of mine saying I'd rather not work.

Keep lying, keep getting called out.

It proves you can't fix capitalism. The problem is capitalism. Capitalism causes poverty and inequality and the "war on poverty" I agree is a misguided attempt to fix the problems that capitalism causes with out removing the cause.

While you blame the poor for being poor and insist that they should bootstrap themselves up you ought to be looking at the people who benefit from the system as culprits.

No, you said I was hearing voices that caused me to misunderstand you when I understood you clearly. Then you became petulant and started trolling.

Russia under Lenin was an example of....?

Am I saying they should bootstrap themselves up or am I saying we need to teach skills?

Keep lying, keep getting called out.

You mean the part where I said it was a mixed market and you said I claimed our system is socialist?

Keep lying, keep getting called out.

And now you have brought your trolling from another thread here.
I brought it here?

Keep lying, keep getting called out.

And you are saying that people's needs should come above profit. Is that capitalism?
