so i have got into a debate with another grower making how to videos on youtube that said no matter what roots on all plants will always grow down. obviously he is not a botanist and has never heard of root suckers or basal shoots. it took a whole two seconds to find a wealth of web stuff talking about. out of curiosity do any one know for sure whether it is possible with cannabis for this to happen either way? do you have a link to a web page that supports it. i was reading the page on the link above under the rooting section, it seems like it is possible if the nitrogen levels are high and the auxin is low. obviously this happens a lot with fruit trees and other plants, but i have never seen it in cannabis my self. is it possible on a rare occasion this could happen with cannabis under the right conditions?
