Hello fellow marijuana enthusiasts...I recently bought a few packages of seeds from Pure Michigan Genetics, basically because it's local and I wanted to get started growing...like now...anyways, having a bit of some issues with the strains. I know the company is virtually new, so I was curious if anyone else has grown their seeds before and the outcome. Thanks

I've heard of them and have been trying to get that lemon Death Star but it's always sold out, what kind of problems are you having? Genetic trouble you think or something in your grow ?

Hey Yoda, the Lemon Death Star was one I was going to try next, but not sure I am going to get anymore seeds from them. Depends on how this online ordering from Amsterdam works out. But I got 10 OG Poison and 10 Gouda Cheese formING. Only 6 Gouda germinated and only two are strong, they were even germinated at different times. Of the OG, 4 germinated pretty good, took a bit longer than most other seeds I have germinated, but two of them have blotchy leaves even though all 4 are growing in the same environment. I germinated the other 6 about 4 days ago, two just popped. All of these seeds just seem slow and sickly, but I am hoping it works out. Would love to keep buying locally and have my seeds within 30 minutes of ordering. Was trying to find someone that has grown something good from PMG.

What kind of experience do you have growing? I ask this cause most OG hybrids are finicky. Does not matter the breeder. They are usually very tempermantal when it comes to nutes, and can be quite slow to veg... OGs will usually want more cal mag then most other strains.

Anything Cheese: i have popped quite a few different cheese strains. Germination has been an issue with all of them. Cheese strains seem to have a very tough shell that require some help to germinate. A light scuff and even scoring the seem will give you a much better germination rate.

If you are looking for help here, let me give you a few suggestions.... Untill you are known, it would be a good idea to give a little background about your grow experience... Give as mich detail anout your grow, ie nutes, soil, lighting, etc.... Pictures are worth 1000 words! You can try and describe a problem 100 different ways, but a picture would help ALOT to diagnose a problem

Hi amg, thanks for the info on the strains. I have grown a little in dirt, but this is my first go at any type of hydro, although I do have a White Widow in flowering in DWC, doing good so far. I have a grow journal called 1st Hydroponic Grow/3 Varieties at different stages.

https://www.rollitup.org/t/1st-hydroponic-grow-3-varieties-at-different-stages.863203/

I have pics of them there. The OG are doing quite well with the exception of one, but the Cheese just seem small and slow, thought maybe too much water, not really digging on the rockwool, seems to stay to soppy, but could just be me. But check out my grow journal, put up all info on my set up and pics.

If you post this up in the Michigan patients section you will probably get more strain info there. I know for sure @coreyandtrevor has grown out quite a few of their crosses, and may have even worked with them at one point testing strains for them iirc.

I know Ice Ricer Genetics is based out of Michigan so their gear should grow well in your climate. I've personally had great luck with their Badass line
of seeds. Detroit Badass and Grapefruit Badass. They have some great crosses if things don't work out with the company you tried first. Hopefully it's
something you can get fixed though.

I ordered 6 beans of reg headband 517 and all were female and the ones I have are doing amazing the 2 others I have to a friend because I don't have enough room because they got so big quick. They do not have a bad stretch either I hope the smoke is good

So it's been two months since germinating my OG Poison and Gouda Cheese from Pure Michigan Genetics. Out of the 10 OG and 10 Gouda Cheese seeds, I have two strong plants of each, but I honestly believe I will end up with one female each... ...a little disappointed. I did let Drew, with PMG, know about it, he said he was surprised at the results and was nice enough to offer free seeds, but that was weeks ago, so we'll see. Hope the two are worth it!

The closest one is the Gouda.

Does anyone know what this is. I am going on week 4 of flower and have been giving a little heavy nutes but this is the only one with this happening and I have 4 of the same strain so I am not sure my soil ph is 6.4 and my soil ppm is 650 so I don't think it is nute burn but I'm not sure

Update- Ok, so out of my 10 OG Poison and 10 Gouda Cheese seeds, I got one female of each. The GC is doing awesome, growing bigger than the OG, which is odd because the OG is sativa Dom and GC is indica Dom. But anyways, the genetics on my OG seem not too great. I am in week 7 of flowering and the buds are not plumping and it's not trich covered like just about every other strain I have grown. The GC is in week 5 of flowering and it is more trich covered than the OG. Oh, and needless to say, even though Drew, head geneticist at Pure Michigan Genetics, said he was going to send me some free seeds since I got ripped on price by his seller and because of the germination issues I had with these seeds, he never did send them. Thought it was too good to be true. A little disappointed, was looking forward to being able to purchase seeds in my own state, directly from him...but can't trust a company that lies!

Search Natures Green remedies they got ok genetics. Grew some head band 517 from them and it was OK but lacked in smell and taste

[email protected], you can send them an email and they will send you a list of available seeds, prices are not bad. Update on my plants - after cloning them, the clones grew amazing. I bought my first two packs from a reseller and they were not growing well, the ones that did pop anyways, but after cloning, they grew into amazing bushes. The Gouda Cheese is the bomb and my most popular strain I carry now. In hydro, it can produce 8-10 oz from a 4 ft tall, 3 ft wide plant. Just awsome, i highly recommend the Gouda.
