pie is the best strain ive had and ive gone thru dozens... (at least 50 different 'top shelf' genetics). smell is like GDP black licorice perfume.. it doesnt matter how you grow it, its always fire. ive had plants of her completely stressed, runt, not well rooted, and it was still fire. outdoor just as good as indoor.. same great smell same great smoke no matter what.

Pie is also the only strain i never got to give me any random seeds for backup.. I just hit her with a phantom cookies male, so at least I have a nice selection of seeds to kind of bring her back if disaster should ever strike.

Anybody still growing Cherry Pie?

I picked up a clone a few years ago in sac and have grown her a couple times. I haven't seen nanners, but also haven't looked super closely. Her flavor has cherry and maybe even a little champagne terps, but then she does get pretty danky (skunky, burnt crusty) mid-way through flower if treated right. Stacks very dense not a super tall plant, but not a runt either. Does this sound like the real deal or no, bc she is supposed to herm lol?

Would love to get my hands on her again, and the Key Lime Pie.
Sounds like the real deal Cherry Pie to me, used to run her when i was back in California. Never hermed on me, then again we ran her mostly outdoors, and only ran her one time indoors. Most of the time herms is just growers error, so just keep doing what you’re doing because you’re doing something right.

That sounds right, it’s a great smoke a little tart and gassy. I love cherry pie, and would love to have that clone again. I’ve only ran it once in light dep and had no nanner/seeds

Is the in house genetics black cherry pie any similar? How does it hold up to the cut in smell an taste/high etc?

I’ll be making some Cherry pie if either of the DP I have going are male. The GDP I have are feminized and I’d rather not spray anything on them
