Anyone grown cherry pie?

Looking to see if anyone has grown cherry pie. How was the yield? Flowering time?

I also heard that it is very unstable. Did you find that to be true if you've grown it?

This is the Bay Area Cherry Pie clone. I don't know what you mean about it being unstable as it is only in clone form. I have made progress back-crossing the seeds to the clone and I am up to bx2. The offspring are very stable and have that classic bud-folding and Cherry Pie taste/smell. The yield is not the greatest but it is very dense herb. I can smell which strain my wife is burning just by smelling the air, Cherry Pie is one of the most powerfully smelly strains around. With night temps in the 60s, it will turn purple. (Ken's GDP needs temps in the 40s-50s to purple.) The flowering time of Cherry pie is about 6-7 weeks. All smokers I have talked to prefer Cherry Pie over Ken's GDP, ect.

This is supposedly the cut I have. I've read that cherry pie tends to hermie very easy. It will throw nanners but they dont have viable pollen. I believe the cut I have is F1 Durb X GDP. What kind of yield are you getting? I grow under 1k's and scrog. With a 6-7 true flowering period I can accept a lower yield.

absolutely no hermis.. Not sure where you heard that. i've grown dozens indoor and out, always purple in mid-60s, always great smell and taste, easy to grow, poorer yield, EXCELLENT mold prevention. Cherry Pie was meant to be grown outdoor but indoor it is ok. Even with co2, I would not bother with it indoor unless it is just a couple of plants for head-stash. I don't know about the f1/durban x GDP. The taste is not similar to GDP or Durban, I have no idea about F1 (whats that?), and it looks like a full bodied indica, Durban is sativa. I think some people just say shit to confuse others.. :) I could be wrong but I don't think there is GDP in Cherry Pie.

It tastes like real "OG Kush" from Los Angeles when I was younger, 25 years ago. Modernized "OG Kush" is not even a "Kush".. "Kush" is 100% indica. Modern OG Kush tastes nothing like what I grew up smoking in So-Cal. Cherry Pie tastes and smells like the classic So-Cal OG Kush in the 1990s-(100% indica). Unforgettable.. Leaps and bounds above Ken's GDP..

Whoa I'm not sure what you have. Everything I've seen says cherry pie is f1 Durban x gdp. Its actually supposed to be a good yielder too from a couple other people i talked too.

Look up berners big business video on YouTube and go to 340. That's the cp I think I got.

CP tends to hermie a little and the yield was a little over a P per 1k. I never got any seeds so in my case the pollen wasn't viable. If I wasn't working with so many other strain I would grow again.

Did you train it at all? If not do you think it would increase yield.

things are being passed around as Cherry Pie, Cherry Kush, Cherry OG. ect... This version is a "real deal" classic OG kush hybrid, not the modern sativa shit. Here is a Cherry Pie outdoor, I have this clone. If you get her big and in a comfortable spot in the sun, she will get a heavy yield but indoor she is weak. This guy let this plant go into mid-october and temps in the 50s-60s at night.

this clone does not auto-hermi and D.H.N. is selling bunk Cherry Pie.

if its hermi, its shit. Good that people are not getting seeds but D.H.N. in the bay is known for selling shit-tons of hermi clones - Likely knock-offs of the real thing.

my hit and miss rate is at about 50% with them over the last 15 years. They are known for selling hermis, knock-offs, ect. I have talked to a few people who supply them with clones, they are business driven and not very friendly people. That says a lot about their honesty..

Get Cherry Pie from the Sacramento or BudTrader clubs in Nor-Cal, almost all of it is the real deal. In Nor-Cal; Cherry Pie, Agent Orange, GSC, True Blueberry, Ken's GDP, Purple Gorilla, Purple Kush, Sensi star, ect, all are very good, some better than others.

You might want to try looking for the Purple Gorilla too. :weed: cheers!

See is this place works for some of you cali-med guys looking for the real Cherry Pie.. :weed:

CHERRY PIE

Cherry Pie is a Strong Indica that produces gorgeous dense buds covered in orange hair and trichs. This strain turns deep purple with cool temps. Flower time is a super quick 7 weeks and yield is Heavy. The aroma is a pungent blend of GDP and OG Kush.

nice! so where do i get those bx2s?
Heh.. in a few months, the bx4's will be ready and I will grow a larger clone to collect plenty of seeds from the bx3 males. It will probably be 6 months but I will give a few thousand seeds to some medical buddies/breeders/clubs who will know what to do with them. :) Cherry Pie bx4, pSi-Deep Blue bx4, Black Dragon bx4, and pSi-PineApple bx4 should be some mega bad`ass shit, all elite.

Didn't you say yield was bad? It says that its a heavy yielder.
