Anyone awake?

YAY! Someone else is awake! I get up early (between 4-5am) and it seems as if no one is ever here! I am so excited! I've already gotten a buncha stuff done, and decided to sit down for a few... but no one was talking. :)

I find that almost every morning. I turn on the news and grab some coffee and smoke and get caught up on shit. It's better than later in the day cuz sometimes being too medicated takes fifteen - twenty posts to explain a thought. lol.

I have the same exact routine, except that I need to help my Momma 'get around' in the mornings. (And evenings/nights.) As a noob here, I'm not to familiar with 'traffic patterns' yet, but it seems like it's VEWWY VEWWY QWIET in the mornings. Which disappoints me, as I have more time to be here earlier rather than later. Thrilled to know someone else in Michigan is awake as well! :)

Additionally: I have tried the "Live Chat" tab dealio in the hopes that maybe more convos would be taking place, but it never works for me. *Sigh*

The last year and a half my father has been staying with us and he is in a wheelchair and I help him 'get around' in the mornings. Throughout the day too, but he is a morning person and I spend some time with him before he has his first drink. (9-10 am)

Well, tomorrow I will start a new thread, with a new title, and see how many fellow early risers we attract! YAY for "Blueberry Induced Thoughts!" Hahaha!!

My Mom has been with us for almost 3 years now. She is a morning person all the way. I formerly wasn't, as I always worked 2nd shift. But was glad to get 'flipped' and now thoroughly enjoy not only the early mornings, but the time I spend with her and the 'new' routine. (Wouldn't trade it for anything.) Mom needs quite a bit of assistance in the morning, less after about 10am-ish it seems, and then again quite a bit in the evening/night.

Fresh pot of coffee is on... anyone need a refill?

I was looking around trying to see if Obama mentioned medical marijuana in his speech last night.
I haven't come across anything about that yet. If you do, or anyone does for that matter, please throw it out here... I will do the same!

Enjoy every moment. I miss my mom something awful.

I missed the damn speech but I figure I'll catch the highlights on the news today. Something tells me Obama's town hall meetings are going to get a little ugly for him this next election cycle because he's broken more campaign promises than he's kept especially in regards to medical marijuana and respecting states' rights (i.e. giving a flying fuck about the 10th amendment).

I feel like I've been squarely kicked in the nuts after having voted for that a-hole in '08 since he's allowed the crusade against medical marijuana to continue on his watch which is completely contradictory to what he campaigned on and continues to propagandize through his puppet, AG Holder.

I do believe MMJ will be a hot button issue this election cycle as many states are considering outright legalization and many more considering MMJ legislation....it's going to be discussed I think much more than any other election cycle in history and discussion is good. Perhaps it will be 2016 before we see anything happening on the national level but the revolution will continue within the individual States with or without the federal government's support.
