If I was going to rent out a shop it would definitely be a "Rain Forest Cafe" think of the possibilities there.

For those who don't know you can take a virtual tour here.

Rainforest Cafe Virtual Tour

It's a restaurant with a rainforest theme, BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

The possibilities are there if you use your imagination.

adreneline thanks for the write up on pros and cons.

i did not think about the fire inspections.... even though i should have as i work for a security company that monitors fire panels.. and we get calls when they are there inspecting. i've never heard of just the city going to inspect buildings? would this happen maybe once every 5-10years?

also this shop will only be rented for 2-3 years to grow in.

also as i stated i work for a security company so i will be installing a security panel in this shop that will call me and have huge bull horns on it to scare anyone away. so i will tell the landlord this and that i travel for work (which i do) so i will need about a weeks notice if he needs to get in the shop and so i can disable the alarm.

any thoughts against that?

Sounds like your on the right track to me!!

What if he ends up wanting to come in, what actions would you take in that week time frame to hide any evidence?

Could not believe the negative asses at the beginning of this post. Anyone hear of the show "WEEDS". This has been a dream of mine for years but was not capable of putting together the capital for such a big endeavor. I wish you luck friend and live the dream! Other than that I don't have anything to add.

Baz, no one would miss the back three feet of the garage:)
Yea i have thought about that, as the shelfing area at the back is 3' deep, so would only need to remove the shelfs and board on to the frame, but, where would the heat go, as i live in an area 2 mins from the eye in the skys landing spot, and have them flying over or hovering about above on a regular basis and most times at night, think it would stand out like a saw thumb on the thermal imaging cammera

if he wants to come in i would basically trash where i was on the grow. save the mothers. i got all my life to complete a grow. not worried if it gets delayed but i'm still FREE!

lookin at another shop tomorrow. little smaller but a lady rents it out so i know she won't be stopping by much.

thanks for all the support guys.

picked up some wood and my auto watering system today. not sure how well it will work but if it doesn't i can use it at my house for my landscaping.

got a 100' of 1/2" hose. 100' 1/8" hose. 40 adapters. 40 drip stakes. digital water timer. only down side to this thing is i think the timer will water at least once a day for 1 minute. haven't tested it out or even opened the package to read into it. i'll let you know. got this setup at menards so i "think" its a good find.

when i finally get running its going to be a stadium grow with 3-4 600w still not sure on the dimensions of it yet though. will either be 8x8 and 9' tall and have plants on all 4 sides of the lights and have say 6 rows high of 3 foot final sized plants.
or
a 8x12 and 6' high with only 4 rows of 20-30" plants. and plants only on 3 of the sides.

i'll start a journal as soon as i get my mother box built

peace

I was setting it up in my apartment and then my landlord caught me.

Turns out he used to do the same thing and after we made a 'deal' everything was back on schedule.....LOL
