Hey peoples,

Really enjoying this place, there is just a wealth of knowledge here. Im 3weeks into flowering on my first grow... atm im only using cfl's but ive been able to learn lots from it. In the next few weeks ill be getting a 250w HPS to finish this grow and to flower the clones ive just made. On this grow i only ended up with 1 female so i lst'd her, next ill be trying a small sog grow.

Currently modifying another cabinet 1.5x4x5ft so hopefully that will help with the 250w hps + summer temps. Also looking for some decent priced lights... found some hps sets @ aussieponics (ebay) that seem pretty good but i cant seem to find any metal halide lights so ill have to go with cfl for veging. Havnt gone to my nearest hydro shop yet (im 2-3hrs out of town) but hopefully they will have some MH lights.

Bye for now...

These are the best pics i could take... the first is of my girl 3wks into flowering, took almost 2 wks for it to show sex properly, a few of the lower fans started to yellow/die but after adding nutes that seems to have stopped. She's been under 182w of cfl (mixture of 23w+20watters, got them for free off the government), quite happy with how she's turned out considering the amount of stress ive inflicted... overwatering/underwatering/no nutes for ages/bad soil/heat issues/terra-cotta pot.... Been a very good learning experience. Ive made a few clones from her but ill probably be trying a few different seeds ive got next time (all bagseeds). The other pic is of those seedlings. Very doggy set up, but it will do till my lights/reflectors come.

The cabinet that has the seeds in it will be modified for my 250hps... planning on knocking the middle section out to give me more space, adding fans/venting and painting it. I also have another cab to use for vegging once ive converted this one. So i should be able to get a small sog going soonish. Good timing to as it starts to dry up around here in a few mnths.
