Another Innocent Black Man Killed By a White Cop - With No Consequences for the Cop

This.

Unless lives are in danger, there is NO FUCKING REASON to invade a citizens home. Ever.
Yes. Exactly.

When a home is invaded by police for trivial reasons, innocent people are killed, babies are burned in their cribs, the relationship between cops and citizens becomes adversarial, and the rule of law is destroyed.

That is what has happened in America.

Sometimes cops are killed while invading homes for trivial reasons:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2014/05/16/no-drugs-found-in-raid-that-claimed-the-life-of-texas-police-officer/

Sometimes cops are killed while invading homes for trivial reasons and the homeowner who killed them is not indicted:

http://freedomoutpost.com/2014/02/texas-jury-refuses-indict-homeowner-henry-goedrich-magee-cop-killed-knock-raid/

Police departments need some adult supervision. Legislators need to roll back about 90% of the ridiculous laws in this country.

we do not agree on anything. look at your title of your thread
Another Innocent Black Man Killed By a White Cop - With No Consequences for the Cop
to you there is a separation of the two people involved. to me there isn't. to you the cop should be charged, to me the overall incident is a horrible incident. we ask officers to make life and death decisions because we can't for w/e reason and they step up to the challenge. i agree to back their superiors decisions of oversight. you think guns shouldn't be in society except perhaps concealed. i think i don't give a shit what a person wants to do with their guns and since i hate the idea of someone imposing their will on me i will choose to walk away from a guy carrying a gun if i feel uncomfortable.you want to impose your will on people and i hate that more than just about anything out there. our elected officials under the advisement of law enforcement, govt researchers and historical records says it isn't a problem let them have open carry. you are going against a large majority of people in america. i hate you and your kind

It's alleged the police told him to drop the rifle and he refused to comply.

He committed suicide by cop...

you can believe whatever you want but when you start posting your beliefs in an attempt to manipulate other peoples thoughts then i speak up. when you try to use news articles to back your rhetoric i step up. don't like it? then stop postings your beliefs.

My beliefs on this matter are quickly becoming mainstream, if they're not already. And they're right. IMO.

Enough of this already. We believe differently, and neither of us are going to prove the other wrong. So this is my last post in this thread. You can have the last word.

For me this crap isnt an issue over race & i gotta agree that the thread title was sensationalism ,for me its about another INNOCENT MAN being killed by police , i for one am sick the fuk to death of seeing on the news everyday where some cop blew a citizen away under the most flimsy of circumstances.

Its allways the same story where the cop was in fear for his life & that makes it all good , if these violent men we allow to enforce our laws are so afraid all the time maybe its time we only hire combat vets with a confirmed kill under their belt to be policemen .

This way we get men who aren't afraid of everything & shoot at shadows but would also know the burden of taking a human life .
Our military personal have more tightly defined rules of engagement than our cops , imagine the outrage if soldiers killed everybody who made them afraid .

I find it hard to believe they both weren't yelling the mantra; POLICE, DROP THE WEAPON or POLICE, DO NOT MOVE. Just common sense.

Agree.
Is it possible he was so engrossed in the phone convo that he tuned everything else out somehow?
IDK, I didn't watch the vid - I've seen a few fatal hits & do not desire to see any more.

This is from the CNN article about the original incident...

Witness Ronald Ritchie called 911 to report "a gentleman walking around with a gun in the store," according to a recording of the call.

Ritchie, who can be heard in 911 recordings released by the Beavercreek police department after the incident, says that a man was carrying what appeared to be a rifle, pointing it at people and "waving it back and forth."
none of which appeared on the video.

but nice attempt at getting the racism ball started rolling there, short stuff.

I support people's right to "carry" arms, brandishing them carelessly like pointing them at people is completely unacceptable.

Imo, the guy committed "suicide by cop".

Do you think there would've been an issue if he was carrying a weapon in a holster and some dickhead called the cops?

Hypothetically he could've explained that it's his legal right to carry (either by permit or legal open carry) and that would've been that.

Waving it around and pointing it at people will get you shot.

Guns 101: Don't produce/point a weapon unless you are about to use it.
you may be able to fool your fellow racists like ginwilly and whitebb, but he was not pointing it at anyone. this whole thing is on video you racist idiot.

Looking back at peoples history AFTER THE FACT is the cop loving medias favorite tool , you dig deep enough & put a spin doctor to work the cops & their media partners will have Gandhi looking like a drug crazed maniac in 3 days .
Gandhi drank his own urine and counseled others to do the same.

The guy barely even started turning around. Damn near got shot in the back. He was turning the corner at the opposite end of the isle when the cop shot him. He stopped, made half a step backwards and got gunned down. It appears to me as if it was as you say. Dude was on the phone and had no idea what was going down. I don't think he ever had time to even become away that the cops were there before they shot him.
