I've actually considered doing a hybrid grow setup. Put a small 150w HID in the middle. Then have 2-4 white cobs or led panels to help get the rest.

I dont know if thats a stupid. Or smart idea.

Your on the right bandwagon bruv , additional wavelengths try get LEDs with a uv-b rating , plants loves to shield themselves with lots of extra sticky goodness +1

I got plenty of sticky goodness from the blurple. Maybe that outputs uv. I dont know. Didnt come with any documentation. Just a warranty card.

Uh. I'm not sure. I've kinda forgotten the specifications of it. I know it's got Veg, Bloom & Growth channels. Each is capable of dimming in 1% increments.

Sounds legit ;) the heat or lack of was the selling point , friends told me my led blue cheese was some of the dankest in yrs , the par values are off the chain

I've only given one of my mates some of mine to try. I've only done mystery beans so far. Only just germinating my first Barney's Farm: Pinapple Chunk.

I only got to try some a few months back. I Know a guy who knows a guy. Definitely tasty smoke. And a nice high/stone to it too. He gave me 5 beans. No charge. Said he's got dozens anyway.

Good to know people I agree lol hey dopeonarope you should do nugachinos idea with those strips build em around a 150 hid won't run up the bill and give a real boost to lumen levels

dopeonarope check out Growmau5 youtube channel (im new, cant link). Hes undeniably pro LED. His videos have many tutorials on how to build something from components. Some mentioned cutter electronics, Growmau5 sells a number of "kits" on there. I started with a Kind LED 750 and I'm regretting not going the DIY path. Get exactly what you need that way

Thanks mate - I've watched all the growmau5 vids a few times over I reckon :D Thats what convinced me this stuff was all totally do-able.

I built my kit after not seeing one suitable for my grow space on Cutter. I selected my parts and eventually got it all together. Largely thanks to Growmau5, Cutter and RIU.

Im in the same boat (kind of). I was going to get a gowmau5 kit but like the idea of the high powered strips - easy to cool and nice even coverage. My tent is only 1.6 high so being able to get plenty of light in without killing what little headroom I have is the plan. Having said that, those solskin boards cutter are making look pretty sweet too

They sure do look good. I want to put one into the other part of my cabinet. And get the thing going almost as a perpetual.
