soon I have to take an amtrak ride on the east coast, I have never rode on an amtrak. I was planning on taking an ounce of bud with me in my bookbag where i'd have some cloths and my laptop. The smell would be 100% taken care of, I just wonder if they go through your shit randomly or anything? Anyone have experience riding amtrak and know whether they would randomly check your bookbag or anything?

I know of a 5Lb shipment that was sent by courier (mule?) to St Louis last year. No problems. Nobody checked anything at the station. Payload was vacuum packed and was inside luggage. However, during the trip, they have armed security that patrol on the trains, similar to Sky Marshals. I don't think you will have any problems with an ounce.

Amtrak? is that like a Greyhound? just wear double briefs and keep the OZ in your pants, they can't touch you.

they get alot of there people off criminal profiling a friend of mine was busted in tex with 6lbs long story short when they took him to the back he went in the security room where they had hundreds of monitors of the whole place. and they told him that how they got most people. dress nice collared shirt slacks and speak proper and be polite but dont talk to much or look out of place..
