8 Ball has some beautiful foliage man. Those leaves look strong, and healthy. Do you super crop, or top for a certain number?

Thanks, I've really liked the strong looking leaves. I topped all of them once, then if they get too stretchy I LST or super crop. I only had to LST and S/C #2 so far, #1 and #3 I just topped once. I normally top just to allow time for some side branches to get up closer to the canopy. I think if I topped the tops once more it would even out more but I'm trying to keep them kind of narrow so can't do a lot of training.

Giving them room to breath is a smart move. I've mainlined, and bonzai'd before. May try my hand at some super cropping this run. I'm liking how #2 structured out.

I was thinking about mainlining sometime, how does it yield compare other methods you've used?

Honestly, my last mainline only produced about another quarter than the one I topped for four. But, the buds on the one mainlined were more uniform. To be fair, I didn't know what I was doing, and was going by word of mouth on how to attempt it. I think I even used the wrong node. Haha. That was like 2 years ago. Didn't attempt it again until just recently (usually in to much hurry to get something to smoke to tie them down). Have a much better idea of what I'm doing now. I'm confident I can pull 1+ grams per watt this run.

Anyways, yesterday I mentioned nothing was in the veg cab except a plato clone. Well this morning I saw a couple of my 8Ball Kush clones got some roots, they are in a little rough shape because I was trying a new light and it was getting too dry because the light ran hotter then I thought, so I went back to the old light and seems to work just fine. I'll check the rest closer later when I look at the rooted ones.

I'll be putting those with roots in recycled soil most likely because I'm pretty low on FFOF, my Auto Purple has been running great in recycled soil. Will probably make a batch of some type of AACT veg brew to boost the recycled stuff and make sure it's up and running, since I normally don't feed during veg with new FFOF soil. I might have to put some into 3g smart pots because I might be running low on 2g s-pots.

Well it's day 53 for the Platos, almost 8 weeks flowering, and I am seeing a lot of cloudy trichs, but no amber yet. Going to try to let these go till I see a decent amount of amber, I'm thinking 2 weeks will be good, but we'll see.

All of the plants are showing great signs from the recent feed, all of them are looking a lot happier and healthier now.

Made another batch of BHO today with some more trim from the Lucid X harvest. Used around the same amount of material but a lot less big leaves, got about double the yield as last time. Just as good too.

Idk if know if you remember when I ran my 8 Ball Kush or not ?: But I went ahead & crossed her x my Dads 100% pure Sativa strain Hubba Bubba Bomb= resulting in 8 Bomb. Haven't ran the 8 Bomb as of yet. But as for the 8 Ball Kush, I honestly liked it the very 1st run of her. Now the 2nd and 3rd run was a different story! I didn't matter HOW long it was cured she still ended up tasting like fucking grass bro!! The 1st run wasn't as bad. But OMG the 2nd and 3rd wasn't all that great. Hell, I couldn't even "give" the stuff away. Lol

I sure hope yours ends up way different .. Yours is looking a lot like the 1 I ran. Leaf pattern is the same if I recall correctly.

I was just coming back to RIU right around after you ran the 8 Bomb I'm pretty sure, something like that.

Yeah I hope it doesn't end up tasting like grass. The plants sure smell good. I do plan on running it again, took some clones, so yeah hoping for the best. If I end up finding it tasting bad I can always add something to the next batch like Bud Candy or something. Honestly if it's that bad I'll just have to start running something else. I don't have much of a seed selection so I'll have to look into ordering some depending on how it goes.

You never know maybe I'll get some good tasting plants.

Well one of the 3 clones I took from 8 Ball Kush #1 rooted today, going to put it in dirt. If I don't have anymore 2g Smart Pots it'll be going into a 3g Smart Pot.

The other two Kush clones, plus the three BD x BLG clones I took, haven't rooted yet. Normally they all root eventually, I'll check them out a little closer today.

If the clones don't take I might just have to try and take a few more during these first couple weeks of stretch.

I'll get some pictures during the day today while I'm working on my clones and such and throw them on here before tonight.

Also, got myself a couple blotters for tonight. Going to go with my buddy and his girlfriend to his new place and trip some balls Haven't had any for at least 2 years, so it should be fun.

what kind of soil are you useing ill be useing 12 led setup,still thinking what soild to use,i mixed up my own on last grow,that will soon be harvested i have a grow area about 3 foot by 8 foot,in a motorhome i will use.since its self contained and has heat and air and water ect..

I've just been using FFOF with happy results. I can let my plants go for 4-6 weeks veg before flowering without having to feed anything. When I get the time and extra cash I want to start making my own mixes, or at least following recipes.

How did the Shatter taste,My friend? Looked awesome.I did some Iso from some hermies at about week 7 of F,and damn that chit is SOO heady.

Normally the first time I try new hallucinogens I'll take a xanax or something and smoke heavy. Just to make sure I'm relaxed and have good thoughts. Last time I took 2 hits it was a pretty strong 14 hour trip, and a very long hang over after, so I'm hoping it will be just as strong.

Haven't ran into one I haven't liked yet. There has only a couple I haven't tried just because they aren't very common where I am.

It tasted great, very flavor-filled, it's like a super sweet/hashish taste. You can't feel it going down at all then you just die coughing from the expansion in your lungs.

The high is very head, getting a crazy headrush right after exhale, followed by a numb/full feeling of the top of your head. Makes you lose yourself in your thoughts, space out completely, but almost energetic. Ends with a nice light body high and a light come down, like a really really clean come down that doesn't make you feel tired. You get super bad munchies though haha.

I use to make ISO but ever since I started making BHO I have never looked backed.

Oh my,the taste is something to die for,You hit the nail on the head with the hashy taste.
I have just started doing extracts,and the amount of smoke you exhale from just a Dab,Clouds the hole damn room!
Mine is Soo heady for about 2hrs,then a slow return to just feeling very relaxed!And numb.
