AllDayToker's Adventure of Greener Living - HPS Perpetual Closet Grow

What's up?

This thread is going to be a place where I can post updates of my grows I go through, to later on learn from them and help others.

Anyone is free to post questions about their plants or anything else, it will be a pretty open thread for all.

-Current Setup-
600w HPS Cooltube for flowering
2x 2ft 4bulb T5s for vegging
2g Smart Pots from start to finish
FFOF for Soil
AACT's for feeding

-Current Strains-
Bagseed "Plato"
Black Domina x Bubblegum
Barney Farm's 8-Ball Kush
Auto Purple

-Current Plan-
As of now, this is what I have going for the grow. I veg for 5-8 weeks, top once, LST and super crop when needed. A couple weeks before I put them in flower I take clones so I they will be ready. When the flower closet gets harvest, the vegging plants get moved to flower, and the clones get put into dirt and into the veg cabinet. And so forth, getting me a regular harvest. Every now and then I might have an extra plant here and there. Going for a SOG as of now, but might try less/bigger plants later on.

The first two pictures are of my plant I just recently harvested. A Sativa Dom. bag seed I call "Lucid X"



Here is a picture from today, first day of flowering for 8Ball Kush's #1-3 and BD x BLG. The two Platos have been flowering for 50 days today. The Auto Purple is 44 days from seed.

Yeah those Platos have stayed nice and short and dense. Going to be a easy trim job compared to the last plant!

Alright, so the Platos were running into a problem a few weeks ago. I was still getting use to feeding with teas and overfed. I have been feeding with plain water since to get it back to normal. Now it looks like they are good to go and need fed.

Now that I got a better/safer plan for feeding with teas, I'm going to make a brew tonight to feed to all the flowering plants. I am going to use the same recipe as I normally do but half strength instead of diluting after, it will be like 1:1.

In a couple days I will give all the flowering plants a nice full/soak watering with the tea, then see how they take that, then boost later. I plan on feeding teas only once every 1-2 weeks, then tweak it accordingly with the plants performance.

On a side note, woke up this morning to it snowing! First snow of the year, seems like it never even hit fall, straight summer to winter.

Damnit! I could do without all that stuff myself! Live in the mountains and when it "snows", it pours!! Ughh....

Good to have to around Dank. Yeah I'm slowly getting the hang of this whole growing thing haha. I'll defiantly come check out the ladies later.

Got a little shatter porn from the Lucid X trim. Still got material left to make another batch. This stuff just gets your head spinnin', plus it's a nice calm come down, compared to the bud that gets you really tired after the head high.

I used about 10g's of trim, no popcorn buds, some smaller fan leaves, and got close to a gram of oil. Not horrible for trim, normally get around 20-25% return from the nug it's self, so 10% for some decent quality trim is satisfying for me. It's some of the clearest oil I've blown though, really high quality.

Update:

So I decided to feed my brew today, it is at half strength. I normally aerate for 48 hours but I wanted to try 24 hours to see the difference. All the plants look good so far, no serious problems as of yet. My clones still have rooted so nothing in my veg cab except for a plato test clone. Also considering today the official first day of flowering for the plants I just put into the closet yesterday.
