I don't promote companies, the information is already out there.
Google is your friend...

I hope you get some quality smoke from it anyway.
Keep an eye out for nanner-action.
Grew 3x 5packs of Violator kush years ago, and 4 had nanners near the end.
Most took 12-13 weeks to finish, and even the 10 week plants weren't worth keeping.

I've learned my lesson about Barney, over $150 lesson...
Your plant needs 4+ weeks to really finish, but that's another lesson.

Now I've voiced myself! Good Luck

If the 4 week comment was towards my pics I posted, I appreciate the advice but she is 9wks today and I can't find a clear trichome anywhere so I think 4 more weeks would be too amber for my liking...

Yeah got you2 mixed up.

Are you looking on the sugar leaves? How do you see any amber on calyx when they're not even swollen yet?
Notice the white hairs...those are immature calyx!

I trust a few breeder's, mostly American.

Barney's needs to tighten up their game. Once you've established a giant name and an even bigger following you had better be pioneering new shit , have at least a 99% accurate genetic establishment, ect ect. I feel they have become lazy and enjoy raping the cash cow. Violator Kush sub par, peppermint Kush sub par, top dawg never again. I blame genetic issues across the board for plants that do wierd shit. Crazy leaves, Hermie, too tall, wierd growth, no tolerance to fertilizing, no tolerance to heat, off colors, no bud production, low amount of trichomes or none at all. Sure some of it us our fault but I still mostly blame genetics.

Those 3 packs were tamper proof too; had to be legit barney's farm beans
Such nice packaging for crappy genetics...

I had a 5 pack of Cookies Kush, all grew balls about 40 days into Veg. I germinated two seeds, then chopped them at about day 42 because of the balls. Started two more, same result. Did the last one, same result.

BF are selling genetic hermie's as feminized. Absolutely their genetics, not stressed and no light what-so-ever during dark periods. Been growing 10 years and have my systems and methods honed to perfection.

I've previously done their Vanilla Kush (5) and Blue Cheese (15) with no problems.

They've screwed something up big time. I've contacted them and am awaiting a reply, but not holding my breath...

I've grown numerous things from Barney's i.e. Blue Cheese, LSD, Violator Kush, Critical Kush and a few others and never saw 1 nanner. EVER. It's either they did a bad job picking the mothers of the strain OR user error, which I suspect.

Stress can be brought out by many things, not only light leaks. These include over or under watering, light burn, high room heat, too small pots (root bound), insect and mold attacks, low and high fertilizer rates, etc. Certain additives can also have similar effects.
Ditto. I have found Barneys gear to be very reliable. Love their Blue Cheese, Amnesia Lemon and Red Dragon to name a few. It's just the millennial generations way to not take any responsibility and just pass the blame.

Cookie's Kush during Veg, I tried to put red circles (top right) around the male sex organs.

For those who believe the breeder can't do wrong, and it must be the growers fault, here are some other pics of previous crops. Believe what you will - put your money where your mouth is.

Here is a beautiful Blue Cheese in Veg:

And some P. Cubensis:

I blame the breeders almost exclusively for genetic issues and strange behavior. Sorry, but we growers have been bent over a barrel by these companies long enough and the little cronies that stick up for them are only making things worse. Buy over priced crappy genetics from B.F I don't have a dog in the fight so I don't care. Paying for a name doesn't add up.

So I have now chopped the first Cookies Kush I posted pics of (good guess on the 4 weeks lol, it was about 3 1/2 from that pic to chop) and the other 2 are on day40 of flower. So I guess I find myself in kind of a strange situation, and was hoping maybe someone has thoughts/advice to share?

I'll start by saying I really picked these seeds blind, only going off 4 criteria. I like Cookies stuff, I like Kush stuff, I need Indica doms for pain, and I wanted a 8-9 week strain to keep the pace quick.

The first plant is drying and looks to be very nice, as do the 2 still going, but I have to agree that this is about as much "Cookies" or "Kush" as it is "Apple" or "Cement" lol. So that's the first 2 boxes unchecked...

So the one plant I had that I thought was a little more Indica dom has since turned much more Sativa looking (and also smells like cherry) and the other 2 are/were straight Sativa with the finished one taking something like 11 weeks... So that's the last 2 boxes also unchecked...

So I guess on one hand I'm glad they aren't all males or hermies, but in the end I'm trying to grow medicine and I didn't get what was on label... So am I supposed to complain and if so to who or just live and learn and try to move on. If it were a matter of taste I would just power through but I am genuinely concerned that this stuff may not have the needed effect I'm growing for.

I appreciate any and all thoughts and felt it was important to somewhat clarify my position on this strain. I did post here at first wanting to give some hope to those who got this strain after me, I have always felt the plants I was growing looked female and of good quality. I would not however advise or encourage anyone to buy them, nor would I particularly trust Barney's again TBH. I have no idea what they are putting in the packages, but this is the stock photo of Cookies Kush:

And what they actually look like (obviously not done yet lol) :

Are the pics, finish time and potency really accurate to what the description says with online seed companies??? NO of course not as they ( if not actual breeder ) will give you the Best results in a perfect environment and that's not including the different phenos... I have never ordered seeds online myself as of yet..

I think this is a little different than a 1 week finish discrepancy etc. This is Sativa sold as Indica lol. It's like getting arthritis medicine when you have a heart condition. I don't care if it tastes like lemons instead of cherries, but a buzzy up high when you need serious couchlock meds isn't really helpful.

You should stick to regular seeds they are much better than fem. Don't buy a kush or cookies strain from a Dutch or European or Canadian breeder. They are stealing names left and right. OG raskal, Cali Connect, GDP, gage green I can personally vouch for. They are known for a few strains and try to get a strain that a breeder is known for, not their brand new stuff. Top notch much better than pretty much everybody.

Barneys suck dick. I know they have their fanbois here and there, but honestly, they're the weakest most inconsistent breeder there is.
Fuck ya my experience too!! Got 2 barney freebies w my bodhi order tan dream and red diesel. Both are fucked!:spew: Tan dream has been retarded from day one! Waaaay fucked up!! None of my other plants are like this so i know its the genes!! BODHI, GGG, RARE DANKNESS FOR LIFE !!!!!!!
