I can empathize with this. One of my dogs is terrified and hides under a table when the alerts go off, the other barks incessantly. Fortunately I have nobody living in the houses on either side of me :)
Just be careful with no one living next to you, thats how I got robbed. The two house behind me are completely empty and that where they parked their cars and jumped the wall to rob me. Just keep an eye out for those empty houses! Wish you the best bro.

I live at the end of a dead end street and have very nosy and protective retiree neighbors in a few houses further up and directly across the street. They do a darn good job of keeping an eye on the neighborhood. In addition to the driveway alerts we have an active ADT subscription which makes me a lot more comfortable because if anyone messes with the house or the locked gates going into the backyard a loud alarm will be going off and the cops will be here soon. If they happen to see the garden and nobody is around they will also be able to see the laminated copies of my wife's medical authorization posted on the inside of the windows facing the deck grow. There are still some risks but I think we have done all we can to minimize them while we both work full time + jobs away from the house.
