it looks excellent :-) great job man

why don't you try some LST to control the stretch?

the buds look awsome tho.. :)
Thanks, I under estimated the stretch this time, not sure why they stretched more as I haven't changed anything?
All I can put it down to is higher room temps due to the nice weather we've been having here lately :)

I considered bending the tops over but not sure what that would do seeing as she is now 21 days into flower.

Bending will hurt less than burning for sure. I've tied down quite a bit and they don't hate it too much as long as they don't knuckle out. Very nice tops on the older one though, it started to fox-tail then just turned into studded clubs lol, that's where Canna has the slight upper hand on H&G imo

Well I may have a green thumb but some little FOOKER has got a crowbar and now he has my plants :cuss::cuss:
My lockup was broken into and some thieving scumbag has helped himself to both my flowering plants so I guess I no longer have a decision to make on bending or burning them.
I suppose a saving grace is that he left my vegging plant which is now gonna go into flowering and 2 small cuttings I had recently rooted.

I now have to beef up my security or i'm sure he'll be back in 8 weeks to pick up his next freebie, no one knows that I grow so i'm guessing he was after my tools and work stuff that is kept in there but I guess once he got in and heard a fan running he'd hit the jackpot cos that's all that went except my little safe but he'll be disappointed when he gets that open cos it's empty :)

This is all that's left of my 2 ladies :(

heads up, barneys pineapple chunk is mainly a 9 week pheno that needs quite some time to bulk. stretchy too, but if grown right and timed right itll be very nice

Yeah karma can be a bitch and I hope its the biggest bitch he's ever run in to :D

My run off climbs to quite a high EC and a low PH before I act, nothing critical though and they don't seem to mind.
Once it gets to 2.2-2.3EC I give them a good flush through with some .8EC until I get it back down , PH will drop to around 5.5 but once flushed its back up to 6.1PH, this is usually every 3 weeks or so.
I raise ph after 2 weeks of 12/12 by bringing it up .1 each day until i'm at 6.1

Awesome man! I was really curious about how you did you PH in the veg and flowering stages. I running the exact same thing you are and my ph run off yesterday was 5.75 and tds was 1330. I'm like what the heck happened! I've never ran anything past 5.8 ph but was thinking I might need to. I'm loving your grow pics. Any advice is much appreciated. Hard to find coco growers that really talk about there grow In depth.

Just out of curiosity how did you know to bring you PH up to 6.0-6.1 during flower in Coco? The reason I ask is because I've been reading all over the internet for a while now and it seems like everyone runs 5.8 during flower in Coco. I'm on my third grow and like I had previously said I've never ran past 5.8. I always ran 5.6 during veg and my babies do spectacular while in that PH! But I noticed that around the 5 to 6 week in flower all three of my grows have acted a little odd and I never could quiet figure it out. From your pics and post I'd say this may be mystery problem. I've been researching ph after the second grow started doing the same thing. It wasn't severe or harmful but when you are around your babies almost 24/7 you notice the slightest little problems. After much research I decided to look in the grow journals and a little more and I found this thread and thank goodness I did!
I re-Ph'ed everything today and I'm gonna do what you said and bring it up 0.10 every watering until I've reached 6.0-6.1 and see if this is the magic number.

The recommended PH from canna website is 5.5 - 6.2 so I like to stay in that range, most hydro growers agree that 5.8 is the recommended for veg and as coco is treated like hydro that's what I stick to.
If you look at the charts for hydro then cannabis takes up potassium and phosphorous, which they need more of in flower, better at a slightly higher PH so I up it to 6.1
It works for me and as the saying goes "If it isn't broke, don't fix it" :D

I know you say you've only had three grows under your belt but would you guess that more bulk could be added in just two weeks of ph being corrected? I know that's out there but it's like I stop bulking around week 7 and they harden up for the next couple weeks. I'm hoping this ph change shows a significant change. Thinking out loud here, but if I notice my problems around weeks 5 and 6, that would be the time pk13/14 is added and I do bulk up but then they act a little odd too. So thinking if ph was raised by then to 6.00 it should fix. Hmmmmmm, I can't wait for my next grow now to see lol. Thanks for the replies and sorry for bombarding your thread man.

In my experience nugs stops 'bulking' up 1-2 weeks before chop, but they just get way denser and pump out way more sugar. It's different growth, but don't sweat it too much if they aren't visibly bigger, because if everything is healthy and green until the end they'll still be adding weight one way or another.
