AK48 coco grow, 1st try at scrog

This is only my 3rd ever grow and i only have a small cupboard so my max is 2 plants.
After growing out a couple of nice short bushy plants i decided to put a net in this time and try to control the canopy better so here we go

Only 1 plant this time.

She is in an 11L fabric pot with a 50/50 mix of coco/perlite
Nutes are full canna coco line with added magne-cal+ and liquid silicone.
Currently at 1.4EC (980PPM @ .7 scale) 5.8PH

She was vegged under a T5 light initially and then a 250w mh, topped a few times, and is now flowering under a 600w hps

Pics are in date order and bring us up to yesterday which was day 9 of 12/12

Those 1st pics were just 1 from each time, here's a couple more pics from various stages
The side branching at the bottom is as thick as my thumb

No, avatar is from my 2nd grow (link in my sig) its super iced grapefruit. I had about 10 colas like that from 2 plants and yeilded just shy of 15oz.

Hoping to get some nice fat colas from this one too but i've never grown it so we'll have to wait and see

Thanks yeah i like them to have a nice fat straw for sucking up the nutes

My 1st grow i got 232 grams dry from 1 plant, i took 2 clones from that and flowered them straight after and got 416 grams from the 2 plants.

That AK-48 is the heaviest yielding plant I've grown to date out of 100 or so strains. If your pullin 200+ grams per plant, I am very curious to see what your AK will yield.

Ak-48 is also some speedy stuff, I loved her, will run her again soon.

My 1st grow was super iced grapefruit and that is a big yielder too and was ready at 9 weeks from 12/12, if i can get similar results with the ak48 i will be very happy

What was the yield from yours?

be interesting to see what you get, i grew ak48 a few years ago sadly my best looking plant that was really vigorous was male
i had one tall fast growing sativa type it was low yielding had a really nice pineapple flavour and good potency
the other female was a tiny indica plant that was also low yielding
this one had a complex taste mixture of flavours it was better than the pineapple one
overall tasty strain shame i didn't get a better balanced phenotype

Yes, 11L fabric pot and coco/perlite mix, it seems to be a good combo for me

Hopefully she doesn't stretch too much as i have limited height but i like the sound of your little indica a balance between those sounds perfect
