Ahhhh HELP!

My plant is 2 weeks old today and the bottom fan leaves are turning like dark brown/black/rustic and dry and are startign to turn yellowish green Should I cut off the bottom leaves that are most infected? Here is what it looks like I will try and get a pic of the full plant very soon!

This just fell of of the tip of my leaf whenever I slightly bent it. Other leaves no so infected except for tips of a set of the newer leaves
I will post a better pic ASAP
By the way, this is not a bug infestation underneath leaves are pretty much OK.

looks alot like nute burn.

Are you using nutes?
What medium are you in? (any slow release ferts in it?)
Are you spraying your plants with anything?

the slow release ferts are what is probably causing your issue.
Alot of people do not like using MG as it is very HOT soil.

You should know you bought it.

If it were me i would flush the hell out of that soil and hope. I would buy a flushing additive such as CANNA or something similar and see if you can flush the nutes out.

I personally use COCO which is virtually nute free.

I have recently been converted to never flushing again but in this instance i would assume that it is paramount that you flush it.

Riddleme anything to add?

it is enriched with miracle grow plant food ..there are these little greenish balls in the soil that whenever you squeeze them watery substance comes out..?

how should i flush the soil?

3 x the pot size of ph'd water with Flush additive in it.

Will distilled water work? and would Lowe's carry a flush additive and could it possible kill my plant?

Should I start giving it nutes soon as I flush it?

Get some distilled water, put about 5 gallons of it in the soil and let it run through, then two weeks later start giving it nutes? Will this affect the growth rate or anything?

You need to keep watering it with normal un-nuted water.

this will help to remove any excess nutes left in it. Then after around 2 weeks of using just normal water you should be good to start feeding.

I don't use nutes in my water, But I have some 18-24-16 I am just wondering how often hsould I flush it with 5 gallons of water, every other day? Just once? for a month? Will this affect the growth of my sheelah

Jondamon has it on the head, I had the same problem with my first set of clones, damn time release, not much you can do but give her normal water untill the soil ballances out and those damn gel capsules are done releasing. By week 5 or 6 I was able to start adding 1/2 str nutes. Keep giving her normal water and try 1 heavy flush with 3x the amount of water the pot the plant is in holds.
I was terrified to do this last step but I saw the nasty crap washing out of the soil immediately. Just dont water for a few days afterward.

Ok, and I ran water on a gel capsel for like 10 mins with warm and cold water and it didn't phase it at all lol these damn things are such a nuisance.

What do you now want to know?

You have been advised to flush your plants with 3 times the size of your pot of plain ph'd water or with some FLUSH additive mixed into it.

then just use plain ph'd water for around 2-3weeks and then begin your course of nutrients.

What else is there to bump your thread about?

1. How often do I flush it, just once?
2. Will the gel capsels fuck me over and are they the only nutes in the soil? Because if they are there is no reason to flush cause those things are unaffected by water.
3. How do you know it is because of over fertilization?
