aerogarden short rider grow . seeds came FINALLY!!!

theres some current pics. notice how the lower leaves are brown and shit, idk why but all the fresh growth is good. these things grow fuckin fast i look before bed last night little baby leaves come home from work check huge fuckin leaves compared to before!!! im so stoked thanks for all the help guys. keep blazin, and help a brotha out on the way hahah if u know what those spots could be that would be tight thanks

Yeah there definitely nute burned, i would just flush the rez out and let then sit in pH's water for a day or two, then try going bac on the nutrients at a lower dosage then you did last time

ok so changed the water to just distilled. i hate how they droop everytime i change the res lol but ya hopefully tom they look better otherwise ill just switch back to the nutes assuming they need em, everytime i switch the res water the damn air bubbles look different from the last time so idk if its bad or not but ya

They should be fine, im sure they will look better tomorrow

Thats because of the nutes my man.. Dont sweat it. Same shit just happened to me i put in 2 tomato nutes and 2 out of 4 of my plants got some burn. SO i flushed the rez and have been giving it fresh air for like 30-45 minutes by opoening 2 windows in front of the grow box. Its been 2 days now and 1 looks like its getting better and the other looks at its worst.. And u get more bubbles when u add the nutes for some reason. Ill be starting a new thread with some pics soon. Whats up SICC!!!

ok well they were drooping and sad so i changed the water back to nute water and transferred the front plant to the back row, im hoping she is happier back there. ill post new pics in a day or two whenever i see some sort of change, hopefully positive!!!

I got my babies growing as well. It seems like me u and dog are all in the same boat. Good luck MEN!

man this sucks lol two days and not much growth, little but not alot rez change aint due til weds so im hoping they start pickin up soon here!!!

ya definately i hear ya, well the lowest leaves were all dead and yellow so i trimmed them off. the lower stem on one of em looks like its deteriorating or something but idk im hoping its fine, like it looks like a wound or something but idk

Try not to cut any leaves off of ur plant!!! The plant uses the nutrients from the lower leaves to help the top of the plant grow. Thats why the leaves at the bottom of the plant turn yellow. Just let them fall off or pick them off when they are all crunchy and brown..

oooo shit well ok well ya the leaves were crunchy on the one plant but the other one like 60-70% were bad so i figured they were just holding it back

na they aint holding it back they are actually helping the plant.. Take some pics of the rotting on the stem. It might be nothing. Would like to see a close up so we can tell what it is!!

Yea those aerogarden sponges have a tendency to cause the very bottom of the stem to crack and turn brown. Im not sure what causes this but its never caused me any serious problems. I would however be careful not to put much pressure on it, and later on you may have to stake or tie them up to keep them from falling over.
As for the white mold, i have yet to figure out how to excape it ( i also leave my pump on), but it doesn't seem to pose any threat either (from what i can tell).
