You guys are a bunch of ass holes, he did not ask for help in rooting clones!
He is trying to follow the laws of OUR state which few, if any of you are in. There is a grey area of when they consider them plants here and simply having them trying to root could cause your plant count to raise beyond a legal limit, and if that was his place the cops stopped by, he could be in jail right now.
Do things your own way, don't listen to these guys, i completely understand your concerns, i am about to do a bunch of trimming, and i don't plan to keep any of it because then i would be above my counts. That is if i was growing ;)

if you had under 2oz of cutting [even when wet] why are they even looking at you?

Did you break the "never talk to the police" rule? What you may have said might be more damaging than what you did.

thanks for the concern friend, but my roommate spoke to a lawyer and is not concerned anymore. the fact that a bunch of snipped branches from a plant placed in a cup of water can be considered towards anything other than trash is beyond me. if he dumped them on the gound it would have been lawnmower clippings. stupid government, tick tock.

first of all i never said a fucking thing about cloning anything. i asked for legal advice and you said some stupid little pot head thing about "duhh why didnty you just do it yourself?" btw ur absolutely right, thanks cheif knowitall, but whether or not i root them myself has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with any question i asked anybody. internet superiority complexes often get in the way of people seeking legitimate answers to questions. i know how to root cuts, ive done plenty, but giving a friend some clippings that he can keep and root for me in the mean time is my business, and not the issue. the issue is that a cop was busting the place for other illegal activity. now unless you know the law and can offer advice on someone being at the wrong place at the wrong time in a grey area like unrooted cuts, then please by all means the floor is yours. if your another stuck up grower mouthing off at people whove only been at this for a year for not working just like you, then by all means get fucked.

They are simply suggesting how easily you could have avoided a situation instead of driving around and bringing 65 cuttings to a friend. Think about what you're doing and maybe you wouldn't end up in these situations. Do some reading and find things out yourself before you do these things.
