some pics for you boys to enjoy. you know the stats and the nutes i used. my product speaks for itself. these are all 1 plant. 3 more left to finish. looks like it's gonna be about 5 zips per plant. we'll see. if so then i will get about 1gpw.

hey kamie. yea, that's one of the girls from last week. had 4 and i just started chopping them. moved another 6 into flower. got 12 total in flower right now. staggered by about 3 weeks. timing was a little off. i'll keep you posted on the yield. gonna be over 1gpw.

Both of those look like they would mess up your buds. Not worth it in my opinion. Neither will give you a tight trim. Trimming machines are for larger ops in my opinion. And only out of necessity.

scooby all the bonzai hero is, is a scissors that cuts automatically i dont see how it would mess the buds up. we'll see how it goes im def gonna test it out cause i got too many plants to trim normally by myself

Can't hurt to try it out. Just in my experience none of those things work. Only the high end custom ones even come close and you still need to do some hand trimming. Those go for $2000+

hey tree. yea, i'm talking about the big commercial ones. for smaller grows it just makes sens to trim that shit yourself. no trimmer is ever gonna give you the quality look like hand trimming. that's why there are crews that do it for a living in cali. the big commercial guys just don't have an option. anything more than 5lbs-7lbs and you probably need a nice machine. if not then you have to get a bunch of people to trim and that's just letting more people know you grow. i'm talking about the trimpro's, rolling thunders, and twister commercial. you can actually get a pretty decent trimpro for like $800. there are a lot of guys who make custom ones too. like i said though. that's for large ops.

i hear what your saying i just think the bonzai hero is a hand trimmer and thats why i want it. all those other units like the rolling thunder and the rest of them i would never use those things cause the way they work buds will def get destroyed. thanks but i thought you might know other options as far as hand trimmers are concerned

sorry tree...no one i know uses a hand trimmer. i think they would rather just trim with a good set up pruning sheers.

i've used a few of those commercial trimmers and they do work well. you'd be surprised. they don't actually destroy your buds. you still gotta hand trim them a little afterward but not near as much as before putting them through the machines.

do you consider a certain machine the best? to be honest there is a chance i might have to buy one later on in life cause i do everything by myself

for your space and yield i would think the trimpro would work just fine. they have a few models. check them out. (http://www.trimpro.ca/en/produits/effeuilleuses)

the best i've ever worked with or seen was a custom built one that my boy from sonoma got made up in northern cali somewhere by a guy. it was like $8k. i've also used the twister commercial trimmer. it's pretty badass. $10k or so though.

Yeah, I've seen a guy drop ike 10k on a tumbleweed trimmer, and then make it all back in a month "renting" it out for 500 a day during fall for the outdoor harvests. Naturally he runs the machine, but not bad for 20 days of work. And by work, we mean getting high and playing with weed for 8-12 hours.

A fellow grower, who has a HUGE cloning operation(tens of thousands of clones, he specilizes in selling trays to dispensaries), remarked that he thought they were renting it out for 1000 a day, so it might be 1000 now, since I was witness to the 500 a day price a few years back. Still think nothing beats a good hand trim, thats just not possible when you gotta harvest 100's of lbs over the course of a month...You'd need an army of hippies, and an equal amount of air freshener to take care of the hippy smell...lol

Not saying I harvest 100s of lbs., referring to my neighbors up north.
