A Mcgyvered Grow

You are givin a house, 2 bed room, 2 bath rooms, 1 living room. There is no electricity available, but there is running water. One bed room can be sealed so it is 100% dark.
How can you guys turn this into a grow room with no electricity? Ive heard of people growing plants using sunlight through a window. How would you guys go about with growing a few crops in these circumstances?

grow outdoors.

Too dangerous to have a room full of Bud in plain sight. Perhaps if you put some sort of opaque covering that blurs the vision but it would seem that would cut down on light transmission. You would be left with a big green blob in the window which would seem "Un-Good".

get yourself some solar panels. look up LED 12vdc 1.4 amp grow panels.

find how many of which solar panel will be necessary for say 15 or 20 of these. find out how to set up some sort of battery system because the days are getting shorter every day, so getting enough energy stored up for the veg light period is important.

find out how to hook them up, how much it will cost n shit, and start building.....

that's about all i can come up with....

big world out there you cant find a place t grow.... window light will work but not well and like was said havn plants in the window is sure to get ya busted

Well the beauty of the room I was planning on growing has windows facing out towards a lake, which means nobody can see through the window since its on the second floor, and theres a lake between me and the next house.

Or a 1500 watt wind turbine. that with some batteries and it could be done. Hell, think what you could do with a 500 watt turgine and some LED panels.


Nice to see someone thinking outside the box alittle.

So if the house is to be sold it would be very stupid to make electrical improvements - you are down to a generator. figure out your required draw, add 20% and shell out the dough. In the long run it will be lots of labor, but you could have a hell of a return done properly.

they have a buyer for the house???? funny if realitor went to show the house and found a bunch of marijuana plants in it im sure that would be appealing to any home buyer
